  3. Hey all, When I purchased my car.. I didn't really want to change anythink major to the body work.. as I think the MK2's look pretty damn good!!! 12 months on, all I've really done is changed the wheels and done a few tweeks in side the car. I've now fallen in love with the Focus CC front bumper! . . Which I think is called " Ford Appearance Package 2 ". I've noticed there's 2 types of CC bumpers... one with/without the chrome parts (pic below). I know one person on this forum has the appearance pack fitted, but has anyone else got any pictures of their CC bumpers? Also, do yo
  4. focus550, Thanks very much for that mate!!! In fact, I'm pretty glad you replied so quickly.. otherwise.. tomorrow morning.. those doors would have been dripping in WD40 :D me thinking " ARRRRR THATS DONE THE TRICK :P" Thanks for the advice mate :D Cheers, B
  5. Hey all, Just lately this has been bugging me .. big style! When you open the car door.. Sometimes if you let it go and it flicks back until its completely opened.. mine gives off an annoying " creek creeeek" noise.. on all 4 doors  ...... Could applying WD40 help prevent the creeky doors? Cheers all, B:P
  6. LOL!! I'm not worrying about losing as much weight as possible  . .. . I'm just curious if a 16" wheel would ride OK if the other wheels where 18"... If the answer to the question was a NO, then there would be no real point in me carrying it around in the boot would there? .... on the plus side, it would reduce the amount the weight the car has to carry lol :) Cheers B
  7. RR right thanks for that slacker.... unlucky for me.. I dont have either of those policys  So does anyone out there know if I can stick a 16" wheel with 3 other 18" wheels and drive around with it?.... orr is that 16" spare wheel dead weight in the boot? Cheers again, B

  9. Yeahhh, couldn't be any easier!! Basically.... take them out the box... give the area where the Scuff plate will be placed a good clean .... get the scuff plate.. peel back the yellow sticky stuff.. and stick it down :D ... Took me 10mins.. If that !! looks great! Cheers, B
  10. Hi all, Currenlty have 18" Ford Alloys fitted..... the spare wheel in the boot is just my standard 16" wheel size. If i needed to change a wheel .. could I put the 16" on and " drive home " or would that naff the suspension up? - and give me a weird feeling im going to tip over..? Reason why i want to know is, I'm going from B'ham to St.Austel, Cornwall next month.. shall be 4 of us in the car + lots of bags!!.. Trying to save on the weight.. . Any advice is welcome :D Cheers All ! B

  14. Hi all, Right, I am no good when it comes to naming car parts orr re-fitting new/old parts, so I'll post a few pictures so you understand me better  OK.. at the moment I have a focus SPORT which came with these standard front headlights : I think the name is HALOGEN ?? - I may be wrong. As you can see the headlamp housing is 'CHROME', I have seen quite a few pictures from this website with the BLACK 'tinted' housing. - which look great! My questions are: I have seen a w/site which are selling the black headlamps for £82 each - but the bulbs look differnet to mine? The ti
