Does anybody out there know of similar faults: I purchase my used 2004 C-Max Ghia Diesel Auto in August 2006. 1, I have had replaced the Auto Gearbox at 30500 mile, lots of metal filings drained off (after putting it in Ford Service to investigate a non-related road noise problem – which was uneven tyre wear) is this a recognised problem? Is this likely to reoccure? 2, A rear end knocking when driven over minor road defect (lots of these about) sound a something is loose, like ESB. Checked everything obvious – even removed all from boot. Not so evident when car is loaded with pass
