I dont know that much about the focus and was just asking to see if anyone new offhand or they might have had the same problem or something,so i dont think there's any need for the attitude to be honest. :naughty

if it opens as wide as it does surely the check strap is broken??

You have to take the door panel off though dont you?

I have a 56 plate focus tdci estate and the passenger door opens far too much. It seems like the black plastic thingy is letting the door go too far,maybe its broke on the door side or come off?any ideas??cheers phil :cry:

You can get a screwdriver between the bonnet and the slam panel and open the catch,thats what i did(from the underneath) :wink:

It has the hole in the glove but theres no connection inside it!!so i guess i have to connect it to the rear of the stereo? :?

Not sony,but ive just looked in the glove box and theres a plug point right at the very bottom of the gloveboxon the right hand side it has slits round it,is this the 3.5mm plug point for the ipod?if so what lead would i require?

Can anyone help me out please. I have a standard cd player fitted to my56 focus lx,and want to have my ipod running through it(its the one with the aux button)Just need help with the removal of the stereo and where the lead go's and what lead,and where you bring it through?thanks for any help.
