  1. right. I got a new headunit put into the focus when i got it (by the dealer), as the old one was faulty. As the last week has progressed, the drivers door speaker has been sounding worse and worse, with the speaker making a farting sound (The speaker is blown). My question is, is would i be able to take the car back, and get a replacement speaker fitted FOC? or will they just laugh in my face, telling me to GTFO? or pay for it out of my own pocket? This is what the speaker sounds like at present, on about volume 6/7 on the 6000cd headunit. I've only owned the car since the 1st of the m
  2. Cool. i may see if i can get ford to change the headunit FOC for me to the one with the AUX. i had major problems with the original one, and they put a 6000CD (My old one was a newer 6000CD) in, but the one i have in has CDDJ, whatever that is. then i may take your advice, and put in a CD multichanger, and maybe if i can, an ipod connector too..
  3. Saw a mk 2.5 with the chrome around the grille. i laughed, as it reminded me of a cheap hooker, with lipstick messily slapped on.
  4. Ahh, ok dude. Hadn't thought about the clock. it's a toss up atm whether i stick with the 6000cd that's in there, or getting another one with a better radio, and a CD multichanger. i hate the rattles of the cds and cd cases in the door pockets..
  5. I am currently looking at getting one of those sony units that came as an optional extra. The Sony HU with the 6cd multichanger built in. Looking about on Ebay, there is one going for the focus, i bid up to an amount X, which it has surpassed already. Looking around, there are other headunits, that are the same, much lower price, but from mondeo's. These look to have slightly different plastic fascias around the headunit. Will these fit, i'm doubtful, but if they don't fit, are there fascia adapters that i could put onto them so that they would fit? Picture of the focus one picture
