That's interesting Mike, I was toying with the idea of cancelling the Adaptive Lighting in the hope of an improved delivery date. The dealer I spoke to (not the supplying dealer) had not heard of any problems with this combination so decided to wait and see. Does your source know if there is a problem when combined with the TI-VCT engine :?:

When I was looking round the local dealerships just after the launch date all the Zetecs had 17"wheels. I'm sure many owners have said nothing to their insurance companies. Afterall it's what the car came with!

Focus2.0 I think you have a good point about the discs I was looking in the Ford catalogue and on page 19 quote. "And there is also the option of Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) that works in conjunction with 'larger' front and rear disc brakes to help improve stopping distances". To me the word 'larger' means they are not even standard discs from the 2.0/diesel range, or is this just my interpretation.

I did get a good discount £2K+ that helped to fund the options :D

Hi all I ordered my Aquarius TI-VCT GHIA on 17th January and still no build date :( I hope the theory that all the "standard" models are being built first is not true or I'll end up with a 55 Reg...lol. I got carried away a bit on the options list with - Leather, Sunroof, DEATC,Adaptive,ESP,Park Assist and Sony MP3. The dealer rang last week and said there is a hold-up on ESP and Adaptive looks like April delivery now :( :(

Hi all, I'm just a newbie but why do you need to plug into the AUX jack an MP3 player, I thought the Sony unit was MP3 compatible. With the capability of about 200 tracks on a standard CD is that not enough?
