AFAIK global open/close is only available on Ghia upwards.

Interesting... looks like the RDS has been switched back on. Until recently in the menu was an option to update Clock/Date manually. Fortunately mines less than a minute slow, which I can live with. Maybe disconnecting and re-entering the code will get it back in sync.

A few years ago Ford were going to introduce DAB radios across the whole range but for reception issues it was dropped. I don't know if there are any plans to revive the idea.

How about taking an ignition controlled supply from the central fuse box it's just underneath the glovebox.

Had mine a year now and discovered yesterday that the badge is spring loaded and pulls out about 50mm giving ample clearance of the grill when it is swivelled :wink:

It is behind the indented strip just above the glovebox.

Only issue I have is when it is being opened it gets very close to the chrome surround of the grill.

AFAIK only the MP3 player will display title/artist track info.

When was it built...if before March 2005 - as Pumaboy2000 says it may not have had the recall work done and this has caused premature failure..

How about say you will take the 1.8 only if he swops the 6 CD player for a standard one.

I think the ASA W26's will look great at first but might be a pain to keep clean and that may deter from their initial appeal. The Fox RS's have an open easy maintenance design but IMO the car must have disks all round for best effect.
