  1. Picked up my Ford Direct 2.0 TDCi C-Max yesterday and I totally agree. Fantastic Engine and Chassis. Car was immaculate from Ford Direct. Also I have been driving quite quickly (it's hard not to) and the Trip reads 44 MPG since I reset it after purchase (120 miles ago). My journeys have been a mix of country and urban with no motorways/dual carriageways. Very impressed.
  2. On the stock printout it says Csv Public Affairs under Vehicle Source and Press Unit 78k as one of the options under the Non-standard Options list. It is very well specced with around £2500 worth of options which included the Sony 6-disc that I was after. I was so impressed after the test drive that I had to get one to replace my Mondeo. It was so much better than the Volvo S60 D5 I test drove a couple of weeks ago.
  3. I've just purchased a Ford Direct C-MAX 2.0 TDCi from my local ford dealer and it is due in 20 days. It has Sony 6CD/ESP/Xenons/Parking Sensors/Traveller Pack/Climate as options and I got it for £11,300, which seemed a fairly good deal considering all the options. My concern is that it's an ex Press car from Ford Corporate Affairs and will probably have been thrashed. Does anyone have experience of Ford Direct cars and should their reconditioning process alleviate my worries of getting a knackered car?
