  1. Hi. What does everyone with a Zetec C-Max clean the water stains off their seats with? I have tried several products, But????? Cheers. T.
  2. Hi. You should try the 2.0 diesel????????? T.
  3. Hi. 05 plate 2.0 Tdci Zetec, coming up 2years old now, over that time 2 EGR Valves, and many other probs.(all eventually sorted) but one consistency seems to be the economy? 41-44 on 6 mile return journey to work, 60-64 on longer trips, I never exceed the speed limits, and use the highest gear the car is comfortable with. BRILLIANT! T.
  4. Hi. I have just completed a journey of 624 miles, mostly m/way, major A roads, a small amount of B roads on one (1) tank of diesel?????? Cruise Control at 62 Mph, 61.8 Mpg, and that is full tank----full tank. It took 45.89 litres to fill. Absolutely brilliant, If it keeps this up, and does'nt breakdown again maybe I will have another??????? Cheers. T.
  5. Hi. Exactly what I did, and have had no probs. only took 1/2 hr? T.
  6. Hi. Had the rear calipers, and pads replaced AGAIN, I have left it so long, to make sure the noise did not return, so far so good, 5 weeks, and if anything the brakes are better now than they have ever been. It is as if the dealers can't be bothered to do it right first time???? T.
  7. Well you, of all people, should know whether it's worth it then, surely??!!! Hi. Not really, This being our first Ford, and after the problems we have had, is it going to work?????? and if it is not going to work, then as I asked originally is it worth the money???? I have had absolutely no electrical faults with my Renault, where as the Ford, Phew. T.
  8. Hi. I have used it on my Laguna with no problems, but it was standard fit, I was just wondering is it worth the money to have fitted to my wifes new C-Max? T.
  9. Hi. Could anyone tell me, Is the keyless entry option for the C-Max worth the money? Many Thanks. T.
  10. Hi. Has anyone experienced a loud, and annoying rattle from the rear brakes on their C-Max. I know it is from the rear brakes, because if I pull the h/brake up one click the rattle stops. It is a 2.0 Tdci Zetec 18 months old with 8k on the clock,it has had the rear pads replaced several months ago to stop the squeeling in reverse, but a few weeks ago the rattle started, the dealer tells me modified pads are required, is this so? I have seen nothing on here to suggest modified pads, or have I missed something? Cheers. T.
  11. Hi. The original post appears to have been hi-jacked a little? T.
  12. Hi. Does anyone know if Ford have sorted the majority of issues reported on here on 2006 C-Max? Also with the facelift has the Ghia spec. changed much, if at all? Cheers. T.
  13. Hi. I have an 05 reg. 2.0 Tdci, 5500 miles, and until recently (the start of the cold weather) I have had no problems, now in less than 2 months, New EGR valve, New heated windscreen, new rear brake pads, new front door seals. Now the reason for the post is, while the fixes, and repairs have been a pain to arrange, and sort out, my dealer Bramhall Ford of Wrexham, and in particular the after sales manager Steve Gittins have been absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, and they bent over backwards to try and make things as painless as possible, loan car, coffee, keeping me up to d
  14. Hi. So did I, but too many things going wrong, Faulty heated screen, noisy rear brakes when reversing Which the dealer says is under investigation by Ford (not what is reported on here?), EGR valve stuck, all within 8 months, I am not a happy Bunnie. This is my first ever Ford, not sure I will have another. T.
  15. Hi Nick. Thanks for the reply, but no it does not have the EPB, As for 05 build I don't know, it is an 05 reg? and the noise is more a groan than a squeel? I am taking it in on Friday, I will see what they say, and keep you posted. Cheers. T.
