this has happened to mine too!

a good idea but i would have to change both then!

some kind person smashed the mirror and drove off leaving the mirror broken and the colour coded outer casing broken too. the rest of the mirror and electrics are ok. my wife has just called from the local dealer to tell me they only do replacements with a gap for the indicator on the ghia model. if you have a zetec like mine you have to get one specially sprayed (and pay for that too!). has anyone else come across this or am i being taken to the cleaners?

it is stuck solid! i have the car booked in for the rear wiper recall so they can look at it then! my only concern is that it is into the second year of the warranty so strictly not covered but we shall see!

went for a drive to brighton over the weekend got to the motorway and couldnt get the arm down! has anyone else had this problem and if so is there a simple solution?

the clock works fine now even with the level showing as not changed! it was resetting but that changed after i took it in for the update! i have just heard from the dealer and they have now offered me a hire car for two days as they cant find what is wrong at the moment and appear to be stumped! they are going to give me another c-max which will be interesting to see what level is on that one.

i have had a c-max since just before xmas. perfectly happy even though i have had what seems the usual problems everyone else seems to get. ie squealing breaks, incorect fuel indicator, clock resetting etc. over the weekend i had a major system error saying that i had a power assist failure and went into safety mode . also the abs warning light came on. it is now in the dealers for the a second day as yesterday they could not reset the fault having run all the diagnostic checks and my main concern is something like this happening when i am travelling along the motorway! what is the correct lev

just had this myself no loud bang but got the warning light and went into safety mode! also had the abs light come on as well. car is currently in the dealers spoketo them yesterday and they cant find what is wrong with the car, they are unable to clear the fault and have no idea when it will ready!
