Went for the ST's. Will get the center caps next week. I love the new RS's. There was a guy at work who offered to sell them to me at work but he left so lost contact and the spacers cost to much.

Golf is lush car. I was looking at a mk5 before I settled on the mk2 focus. I think I would be happy with either. However the focus was better value. I think both cars have there strong points. Only problem is its not 3 door. ;)

Just got my new ST replicas. I got them from next door to me in a place called the Tannamore Tyre Center. (Not far off the M1). Charged me £520 fitted inc new Duro tyres, caps and nuts. The cheaper tyres was £480 but they didnt advise them. Road noise seems a lot less than the standard michelins that were on before. If your intrested I've got there number and there getting more in on Tuesday I think he said.

I cant decide now.... the options are: £800 on the brand new oz alloys plus another £322 on 'alltyre" tyres. (Never heard of them but cheapest I can get. £590 on replica ST alloys with 'nanokhing' tyres. £495 on second hand Titaniums which were a special edition as half were anthraite and half chrome. Tyres are 'newish (His words not mine :D). I think the OZ will be easier to sell if I ever wanted to but £1100 is alot on wheels. I like ST's, however would prefer the real thing Titaniums are cheapest but I prefer the looks of the other two. Any opinions?

I was actually looking at RS alloys but the fact you need to spend £260 eibach spacers really put me off. The guy asked for £800 cash on collection with no tyres. There brand new as well.... usually be about £1100 without tyres I'd think?

225/35/19 is the tyres if thats any help? Or rim width is 8J? Cheers for the reply.

Oz Superturismos is what I'm looking at. They look amazing but not sure whether there to big? Then theres the more expensive tyres, more fuel.... Thoughts? Also, will offset 38 fit the focus?

Seen your post on Jon44w. I have a competitor now. :p For the replica alloys I was quoted £590 all from Cookstown Tyre center with nanokhing tyres. There £380 inc vat on there own. There £575 from ebay though with 2 day delivery to NI.

Would the manifold really add 20bhp or do you think there being slighlty optimisitc?

Says it does the 1.8 as well. Anyway, £46 what is essentially a pipe (de-cat) seems a bit overpirced, does it not?

Looks good. I sprayed the ugly black boot strip this week silver, looks much better. How much did the bumpstrips cost? I think eventually though I'm going to smooth over them, looks way better. When I had last car, the bumpstrips didnt have any holes behind which was good.

Got my side skirts today. Fitted and look really good.

Fixed for ya. Possibly look for better tyres is my only suggestion. Try review websites such as black oval for user reviews of the tyres.
