Hi guys, Just wondering about the employee discount scheme. Seems that you can buy a Volvo, Jaguar or a Land Rover too. So how much do you save on a Volvo? 30%?

Yeah I know that all cars depreciate terribly, but am really shocked the Focus would be worth less than 50% of it's original value after just a year. That's insane. I would never pay £20k anyway :roll: I have a family discount voucher. This is still 30% for the Focus, right? Original plan was to buy and sell a Focus every 9 months before being hit by any depreciation. I may as well buy a used one then.

Thanks guys :) I read that the Focus Titanium has global closing, which I assume means that you can close all windows with your remote control. Does the KeyFree fob actually have any buttons? And does it automatically lock your car when you leave? So far I know how the unlocking procedure works :) And the Sony Sound System.... I know it comes with an upgraded set of speakers as well as the head unit. So, if I get the touchscreen sat nav, does this mean that the speakers and 6-cd changer will go too? Because the Sony system is standard on the Titanium. I've just done a check on the Parker

Cool, I'm really looking forward to getting one now. Sounds fantastic compared to the last Focus. So it has ground lights located under the wing mirrors? :D I suppose it would not be worth getting the Leather Styling Pack on the 3 door then as £1000 is too much for 2-way leathers. 6-way maybe it can be justified. The steering sounds cool. That is servotronic steering but actually offers you extra settings as well - very good. Does anybody have an automatic? What is the auto gearbox like? Apparently it's only a 4-speed :( Is there a sequential mode, or a sport mode?

Hi all, I am moments away from potentially ordering a Titanium and would like for your advice on the following. What exactly is the Leather Styling Pack? I have already selected a full leather interior, so what could this be? The caption says that you get 6 or 2 way power, so this presumably refers to electric seats. If so, why is it 6 way power on the 5-door and only 2 on the 2-door? And if it includes metallic paint, why does the configurator on the Ford website charge me the full £1000 for the pack and for the metallic paint that I had selected too? :shock: I was actually going to put down an order for a nice ST-3. Don't think I'll bother now. In any case, how long is the waiting list for an ST-3? I get a brilliant 30% family discount as my uncle used to work at Ford so I thought I'd take advantage of this and buy a fully loaded top of the range Focus.

Mister M If you reported any of these faults within 6 months of buying your car, do this: 1) Send your dealership a letter (by recorded delivery) and demand that each and every fault is investigated and repaired. Tell them to give you a courtesy car whilst they have your car, and that you will not take it back until everything is sorted. (From my experience, dealers like to take customer cars for joy rides and so make sure that they do a written report on the physical appearence of the car, and that they give you a copy.
