  1. Nice motor... you know, I think what would look nice is a set of MK2 Rear lights..... and those door mirrors really have to go.... me thinks nice set of MK11 mirrors would suit...lol, can you see where this is leading....lol No supermarket shopping for you then for some time... lol Really nice motor p.s. if you decide to change the lights and mirrors.... think i may be able help you there....lol
  2. Craigc Thought this may give you a better idea...
  3. Hey Mav! Careful mate when you go back to the dealer... if as you say is correct regarding value... lol, you still owe him... lol ROFL - you've got a bargain!
  4. Mav Well thats an eye opener!... glad I've got the 100... lol... what with no aircon, no iPod was beginning to feel decidedly second class... lol
  5. Regarding the air con, I guessing because of the high spec on the basic/entry level Focus, and I'm including the Zetec model, any other model option i.e Titanium would have to have Air-Con to warrant the extra premium, as I understand it 'Climate Pack' was the option and if you didnt ask, you didnt get.... One think I do miss tho, and wish I'd been a member of ffoc before buying the car, is the ability to plug in the iPod... and no, I've not got the auxiliarly option on the radio. :D
  6. Good question..... dont make sense, as I understand it 115 is a better engine, which begs the question why did Ford drop the engine in favour of the 100? But in anycase whatever the difference, it aint £1500's worth......
  7. lol... wish I hair to catch on fire.....
  8. Hi ScottyGhia Only if it came with the climate pack otherwise... we stew. lol, but, to tell you the truth, I dont miss it, had it on other cars and thought I would... but, thankfully.... UK aint blessed with a climate that dictates the use of..... Regards performance... not really sure, but, sure it must in some shape or form, you certainly notice the loading when it kicks in... but wether you notice it in general driving... doubt it very much.
  9. Silk purse comes to mind... but original resolution was very low.. but it will give you an idea hopefully..
  10. Had my 05 1.6 Zetec 100bhp for 5 months, and honestly ...its a great car, what it lacks in performance it more than gains in other areas, road holding being only one. And yes, have to agree with most, you have to push it hard to get anything out of it.... but if I wanted a sportier motor... I'd have looked elsewhere... its a great car, but its no sprinter. Saying that... lol, where can you go to sprint... btw, theres no air-con, so thats a few bhp recouped and few pints of the old jungle juice saved.... Happy motoring....
  11. Thanks for the prompt responses, but initially If i got out of the car, all I needed to open the tailgate was to press the solenoid within the handle, but now, I cant open the tailgate in any otherway other than pressing the 'plip' twice.... which had that been the only way ever, than great, I'd have assumed that was the 'norm', but as mentioned the fact that once I've actually opened the car I had been then able to open the tailgate by using the rear handle.... So ..... Revoltos, your correct, it is supposed to open when clicking twice, but I'm sure that should only be when the tailgate i
  12. Dont know what I've done or even if it was me!... But I cant open the tailgate without pressing the tailgate button twice on the key fob, I've tried reprogramming the key, but still the problem exists, If I unlock the car as usual, the tailgate stays locked. I HAVE to resort to double pressing the tailgate button on the key. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Ouch!...I thought I did really well getting one from ebay, but that beat it by a couple of quid, Will definately use them in the future, although did check Rude Racing out initially but they worked out slightly dearer. But thanks for response in anycase. BTW. I did notice an instant response after changing the plugs, prior to fitting the K&N, cant say I've noticed any real difference in fitting the filter, but I understand it takes a few outings for the engine management to settle in any changes? But thanks again.
  14. Hi... I think your probably right, I had no data regarding plug gap, and I set mine initally to the gap that was on the plugs already fitted, which had been replaced recently...(Ford Garage). Anyway, I recently found out that Fords reduced the gap to 1.0mm because of issues with the coil. Long story short, I've now reset to 1.0mm.
  15. upate on original post, NGK plus set at 1.0mm ..F***ing great!, what a difference over the old motorcraft plug, which incidently Ford fitted with a gap of 1.3mm, more responsive and smoother tick over, awaiting K&N filter...
