With the name CHARCOAL wouldn't you think it was more of a Grey tint rather than Green. Having looked at your photo's again it does look to be prity good ! I notice that you to are in Lancashire. Could I therefore ask where you had the film applied. It might be easier for me to use the same guy.

I had a set on a Peugeot 307 XSi which were the smoky version. They looked great against the black bodywork, but I have to admit that I have never liked the silver/mirror ones. They just look cheap and nasty!

Thanks for that, I have been in to the window filmer today and he tried various sample against the glass to check for a decent match. They are either on the brown side or grey and do not look anything like the match you have on those photo's. I would really appreciate any assistance you can give. Many thanks, Scott

No! Dont even make replacement rear 'Lexus Light' for the Max, although they seem to do them for every other car on the road. Not saying I actually want them!

A chap i work with had a look today (he also drives a C-Max) and asked if he could have one with his name "JACKO" on display. It turns out that the girl on Ebay that does these can do whatever you want in whatever font. So I could have ffoc.co.uk as mentioned above. Not sure if you could fit all the lettering on though! To be honest, as modifications go, it is by no means 'in your face' and I think it adds a nice subtle touch. It's not as if I am going to start adding spoilers and whale tails etc. but I do have a few other ideas that will hopefully make the Max look a little more distinctive

Have looked on Ebay, but they do not appear to be the correct size for the C-Max. They all look to be much smaller. I have left my details with a chap who is going to check availability in 'black' and hopes to get back to me tomorrow. To be honest, i really do not want the navy blue original!

Does this guy ever use a mirror? I think he would be shocked to realise that he is 'White' Glad I dont listen to Radio 1 I thought 'Pimp my Ride' was an American show on MTV ? Have seen a couple of clips with what I guess to be an American Rap artist.

Getting back onto the badges, I notice that the rear badge sits in a recess. Does this mean that the badge is completely flat or is it shaped (convex) to marry-up with the shape of recess. Anyone know ? While having a better look earlier this evening, I have noticed that the silver backing to the badge is 'pitted', in fact when viewed close up, it looks bloody awful! Surely Ford did not skimp on the quality of their badges. Doesn't say much for the rest of the car. This is their corporate identity when all said and done!

CharlieR, Dont suppose you know the type of film used or even the brand name. I have a place nearby that films windows but when I looked at their stock, they all seemed to be various grades of grey tint and not green!

Modification Number 1 : Not sure if any of you guy's has seen these on Ebay, But I think for £3.99 they look prity cool. Have just fitted this weekend and have just had the wife sat with her foot on the brake while I took the picture. God only knows why she was so embarrased. What do you think ? If your comments are anything like the wife's, then I am a real 'Sad-o'

Moondust, Car going in on the 10th for the top of the windscreen to be re-sealed. The chap in the body-shop told me that this was a recognised problem with the C-Max. Will let you know how I get on.

CharlieR, Is that a C-Max I see next door ?

Know idea as to bulb type, but just wondered how easy to replace on the Max. Have heard that on some other cars, it can be a nightmare. I work with a guy who's previous car was a Rover 75. You had to replace the bulb via the front wheel arch! It took him over two hours to manage to remove and correctly refit the bulb. Sorry, not trying to put you off.......Honest !

That looks great! Did you manage to find a decent match for the dealer privacy glass which as mentioned, has a greenish tint.
