No ended up having to travel up North to find this one. Dealer had two red ones in the show room (one three door and one five door) anyway he said i could have the three door one if i wanted, so i took it.

I had a car on order with aload of options originally with a January build date for delivery beggining of March but this got delayed to a build date in April for delivery middle of May. I said would it quicken the order if i was to cancel the options and it came back that it would'nt make any difference and that even standard STs are being delayed. I ended up cancelling the order and bought a standard ST-3 that was in the show room in colorado red. Pick it up this Thursday.

I've been told exactly the same, delay on the visability pack, solar windscreen and heated drivers seat. I've been told that if i want to wait for these options im looking at a middle to late March delivery.

Ford contacted me again today and have now told me that if i wanted to wait for all the options that are not avalible at the moment ( solar windscreen, auto headlamps and auto wipers) then i wont take delivery of the car till middle to the end of March. I told them that this was ok with me as i did'nt want the car till March anyway as i wanted it on a 06 plate and i'd rather wait a bit longer so i got the car i ordered. He also said that by March the keyfree system should then be avalible if wanted. He also said he had checked with the factory and the drivers seat has got a heated option but t

My Ford dealer contacted me today and said that Ford had a few problems with some of the options that i had gone for on the ST-3. They said that the solar windscreen is not an option, the auto head lamps is also not an option and for anyone who has ordered sport front mats there is a delay with them as well, i could have waited for the mats to come in but this would of delayed the car. He didnt say anything about keyless entry not being avalible so i just presume this is ok. He did say that both the front seats are heated as standard on the ST-3 and you wont have to pay any extra for these. He

Hi Rick and welcome. Just saying orange ST-3 isn't good enough!! full spec please (options etc) I think i went for nearly every option avalible, sunroof, DEATC, solar windscreen, parking sensors, auto headlamps and wipers, heated seats. Thing is i had a mondeo ST200 and wanted the Focus to have all the toys that that had.
