I know what you mean, i ordered one as a company car in November. Was supposed to be taking delivery in mid feb. Then told it was put back to the middle of March. Yesterday got an email saying "due to build issues" won't be getting it till 30th April. Really starting to take the pee now, but not really much i can do about it. If i changed my order to something else it would be a minimum of 15 weeks anyway. :( :( :(

I agree, leave it. I used to work as a salesman in a dealership and to be honest they probably won't even notice (if it's as minor as you say). And even if they do, just say it was there when they gave you the original part x price, they deal with such a large amount of customers they'll never remember. You could maybe sort the mirror as that will be pretty noticable. Women eh!

Actually, scratch that, think the turbo's only good for high 200's. Anyway, still not a good idea.

Like OllyTB said.....a bleed valve. Doesn't matter how much they talk it up, that's still what it is. Basically a tap on the wastegate return, to trick the wastegate into thinking the turbo isn't at full boost. Therefore, it will keep spooling up more pressure. You could probably get 300-320 bhp............for about a week. LOL. :lol:

Sounds about right, for me though i agree with FocusZtec, it's just something i'd do anyway. Much the same as you, supposedly, don't need to run in modern cars. But, i bet ya most people do. :wink:

FMC, yeah like you say each to their own. Wasn't sure about the stripes originally, but thought it needed some more ST branding. 4 logos isn't enough!!! LOL I am actually tempted to take off the plastic "fake vent" monstrosities on the front wings. But i imagine they'd leave a hole.

Where abouts in the country are you and when you supposed to be gettin the car? Would look 8) two identical cars in convoy!! Obviously you'd be behind me LOL!

Xscoobytal, No,no,no! Don't get white with the side stripes it'll look rubbish. Awful even!! Won't suit the car at all. Change your order immediately. :shock: That opinion is nothing to do with the fact that i have ordered the exact same spec, ST-3, white, stripes and everything!! You're the first one on here that i know of to get white aswell. Thought I might be unique!!! Damn you! :lol: :lol:

It's not up to me when i get it. the company's havin to pay for a hire car at the mo, so i've gotta take it asap. At the end of the day, it's not my car so not that fussed.

I've gone for the st-3, in Diamond White with blue ST side stripes. Climate, Advaced Bluetooth and sports mats (whatever they are, been told they're worth 10bhp :wink: .)

Certainly hope so, i'd really love a drive in one. All the dealers i've been to reckon they can't take them out on the road, but i've seen a couple knocking around! Lies, i tell you! All lies!
