Well...i've had the Nightbreakers a couple of nights now...and i have to say...that they are different over standard lights. The beam is alot longer and upon closer inspection...the light is slightly whiter than standard. Not too bad really. I would like to try the Philips Xtreme bulbs though! I'm afraid i comitted a cardinal sin aswell! I went and bought something from Halfrauds! Haha! I got some Prism 501 LED White sidelights. They're not mega bright...but look really good at night! I'm sorry to say...i am quite pleased with them! Haha!

Those are Osram Nightbreakers. Why don't mind look that White???

U didnt notice any difference either?? Oh great! I think i've just wasted nearly £20! You're right...they're not that cheap. I think some of these company's rip us off...and really they're just standard bulbs with a fancy name and bright shiny packaging!

Zetec...i hope you get your car very soon mate! Get some pics up when you get it! I dont think Bluetooth and voice control come as standard...i think thats part of an option pack. I got my Osram Nightbreakers this morning, and fitted them right away. I have to say...i don't really notice any difference. They look exactly like my standard bulbs did! Maybe i will notice a difference at night. I'm gonna take it out tonight and see if there's any noticeable difference!

Yeah i was happy about the tints. The Focus is a nice car...thats why its won car of the year for so many years! When i got my mark 2 i was stepping out of a 1.2 Clio Dynamique (1st car) and i was really shocked at how smooth it was and how well it handled etc. Thats why i got one and why im going for another! Haha! Just one question....is it only the TDCi models that have the slightly larger info screen inbetween rev counter and speedo? Does anyone know?

Merk...im the same...i prefer it if the car comes with all the kit...and if i do have to retro fit anything...i prefer someone else to do it because knowing me...i'd bodge it right up! Haha! I don't think i would use the Bluetooth kit though, so thats why ive not gone for it. The salesman did throw in privacy glass for free though, as they dont come with it standard anymore apparantely.

Regarding LED lighting, ive been talking to Pete at Autobulbsdirect this morning via their online help chat facility...and he said and i quote: "LED lighting for sidelights is not technically road legal as they can't be e marked. However they will be fine for MOT's" I also asked him if you would get pulled for having them and he said: "no not at all, it is just a technicality due to them being a different technology to the standard bulbs." So...there we go! :lol:

Cheers for those pics. They're great! Have you upgraded the main beam and foglight bulbs? They don't look as yellow/beige as normal, standard lights do.

Hey RB that looks nice. Whats the small circular thing on the door at the back just below the door handle? Can you take any pics with your sidelights on and then your headlights? That would be great. Cheers mate! :lol:

Sorry mate i've just seen its the Titanium TDCi! It's nice man! Lotta kit on it! :lol: I was gonna get DDS but the salesman quite rightly pointed out that it wont work properly if i stick bigger aftermarket wheels on (which i intend on doing) so i didnt bother getting it. He said i could still get it...but i would need everything resetting for the bigger wheels...and if i put the standard wheels back on it...i'd need them all resetting again! Too much hassle!

Hey Merk. Yep that link worked and it looks good! Is that the Titanium with the Sport pack or Zetec with sport pack? Any plans for any mods? Those wheels are nice! No wonder you have to pay extra for them! Haha! :lol:

Hey Zetec. You car looks really good mate! Was there any re-wiring necessary for the LED sidelights? I might get some. I normally only change the headlights, main beam and sidelights...i don't normally change the fogs as i was told they have to remain standard...but i think i might change them. What headlight bulbs have you got? Which model mk 2.5 have you gone for? I'm getting the 1.6 Titanium in Black. It's due around 11th September so ive still got quite a while to wait. I'm really looking forward to getting it though! :lol:

I bought some Osram Nightbreakers today from Autobulbs Direct. I got these because i read good reviews about them and saw video clips on Youtube and they looked alright. What do people think of these bulbs?

I was thinking about changing the bulb and stuff but its just too much hassle. Has anyone else got any pics of their mk 2.5's? I'm interested to see anyone's Titanium if anyone has one on here?

It says on all the websites that sell them (in particularly Halfords) that they're only suitable for off road use only and are not legal on public highways? Also...does anyone have the Osram Cool Blue headlights/sidelights on here? I've searched the net to try and find pics of these working on a car but i can't find anything.

I'm also after a nice Xenon look sidelight bulb. The ones i have produce a nice shade of light but they don't seem to be bright enough!

Guys, Those of you with a mk 2.5...i take it all the bulb sizes are the same as the mk 2...e.g H7 for dipped beam? Can anyone tell me what the best upgrade bulb is? I want something that's as close to xenon as i can get. I've been looking at the Osram Cool Blue bulbs. Does anyone have these? If so, can pictures be obtained so i can see what they look like? Thanks.

Not sure about the spark plug query but as far as the panel filter is concerned, i think this is just down to personal choice. You will probably get a similar gain from both filters but it won't be that noticeable. You should also check out DNX panel filters. I've heard good things about those. There's also Green Cotton filters which are also meant to be good. If go to: www.european-parts.net you can get a Green Cotton filter from there for your mark 2 well, you could the last time i was on there anyway. Let us know what you go for and report any noticeable changes in the cars performanc
