So don't know if it's a std 1.6 but with VCT....All I know its a 1.6 Ti-VCT 115 BHP manual gearbox June 05 model.

So is the Ti-VCT a good engine better than the standard 1.6 engine and has it had any major problems yet..? Also what should you be getting relastically mpg wise for standard round town driving I mean the book says 34mpg...

So Matertech are we saying it's normal for these engines to be running at nearly 4000 rpm at 80mph?

Go to http://www.glass.co.uk/uk/en/ You will have to pay a couple of quid but this will give you the dealership price for trade and the most accurate...This is what all garages use to price cars. I'm sure you will probably know this already.

I've got a Focus 1.6 Ti-VCT (05 Reg) and noticed that when you are sitting on the motorway at say 80mph the revs go upto about 4000 is this normal...as my previous 1.6 focus LX (52 Reg) would be just over 3000.
