  1. I have the Zetec Climate, 1.6 in panther black. I would love to get the kit but i know it wouldn't stop there, I would want more and more done and at the moment funds don't allow. Its expensive this modding lark! P.s - rocky, just you wait til FITP mate ;)
  2. I swear people are just buying the MS kit to rub my nose in it :( I Love that kit!! Looking good there Sai :D
  3. It took me two days to finally reverse my car. I was so nervous when i first started driving it as there is such a big size difference between the mk1 and mk2 - didn't think I would ever reverse it! I guess with me being so lazy pushed me to reverse it sooner than most. It all came down to reverse parking it right outside where I wanted to go or parking a few streets away and having to walk back   Just like you p5byn I was so excited when I reversed it all by myself - so excited I even sent Tony a text to tell him
  4. I saved myself the hassle and had the privacy glass put on as an optional extra. Doesn't look too bad considering its a factory job.
  5. I'm the same with my pigs  I've always had pigs in the car and I transfer them from car to car
  6. Looking good! p5byn - NEVER put your glasses lense down, its a pet hate of mine
  7. I have an Ipod Nano and an MP3 but I don't use either in the car. A few months ago I bought myself a CD/MP3/DVD stereo. I've now got that fitted in my mk2. Saves having leads everywhere and I can get 24 albums onto one DVD :D
  8. Ooohh you little fibber!! And there was me thinking you were such a nice boy  Last time I ever treat you to a cuppa!
  9. It was unlocked using the remote key :? Phone call to the dealership me thinks!
  10. Yep it is the perimiter alarm but this evening (with fellow ffoc'ers as witnesses...Rocky & Madhatter being two of many), we locked my car and opened the bonnet.....nothing  The alarm then did go off when the key was manually used to unlock the drivers door. When the door first opened there was a little warning alarm - like when you have left your lights on, then the proper alarm sounded about 30 seconds later.
  11. Hmmmm weird that :? I'm gonna have to get my manual out aren't I? :(
  12. I haven't got any sensors and no switches but trust me, that thing was going off and the indicators were flashing like a good 'un. How strange!
  13.  I could never pass for a brunette could I?
  14. Sat in my living room I could hear a car alarm going off. I actually said to my mother "whats the matter with people, surely they can hear that!". My mother pops out the front to take a look at who's alarm was going off - it was mine   I didn't know the car had an alarm!!  Yeah, I know I should have sat down and gone through the manual but to be honest with you, reading the manual takes the fun out of finding this little extra's which the salesman forgot to tell me about   I love my car :D Ceri :D P.s The alarm seems a little sensitive mi
  15. Do what I do, go to a regional meet and flutter your eye lashes
  16. Told you its difficult to get out ;) As for the wires, maybe check out the ICE and the How To's - see if there's any help there :D
  17. Because he couldn't get the standard system out  Once it came out all was fine :D
  18. Craig, the wiring really isnt that difficult. Although I didn't fit my own stereo I had a good nosey when Madhatter was fitting mine. I'm confident that I could do it on my own and if I can say that, you got nothing to worry about :D
  19. Be warned, the standard system is a bit of a pain to get out. Just keep at it and it will eventually pop out.
  20. I had this with my new Ghia for the first couple of weeks - went away on its own though and not had it since (4 months now). Fab - thanks for that :D
