Thankfully I've not experienced any of the above but I've only had the car a week. I have noticed I have a scrapping noise coming from the passenger windown when I put it up :? As there are no marks on the window itself I'm hoping the noise is just because the car is new :?

Here's mine.. 2007, 1.6 auto zetec climate with privacy glass. Totally standard except a stainless steel tax disc holder, stumpy ariel and JVC CD/MP3/DVD.

I love the privacy glass its much darker than I expected it to be and it really compliments the panther black. Unfortunately I don't have any photo's which really do it justice. It was certainly worth paying the extra for!! Madhatter kindly fitted my JVC HU in this evening. Boy was the standard unit a "female dog" to get out! Thanks to Madhatter also, I found out my car has "follow me home" lights, very handy when walking from the car to my front door in the dark!! To be honest, I could sit and play with them lights all evening :lol: Oh and we also fitted bulbs in my footwells. The dealer

:lol: :lol: :lol: Well everyone has basically said to get used to the size before I attempt to reverse it into a parking space - I know its sad but I'm happy :lol: Oh, and I just want to add, I am not in the habit of hitting things when I reverse!! :lol:

Just to keep you updated.... I reversed my car into a parking space this afternoon and I didn't hit anything!! I'm so chuffed :D :oops: :lol:

I need the cash first lol maybe i could start a "help ceri get wheels" fund lol

and to be honest I need reminding. Went for lunch with CNO at a pub earlier today. Can out and started walking to wards the cars, I was looking for my old one :oops: :lol:

Funny you should mention the LCD dash...I took the car to visit Madhatter this evening. He seemed a little jealous that mine flashes "FORD FOCUS" and his doesn't :lol: I thought they all did :lol: Now I have to try and find somewhere that sells the connector for putting in an after market stereo - can anyone point me in the right direction? I already have the fascia - just need the connector at the back.

I picked up my mk2 10.00am this morning with 17 miles on the clock :D All I can say is WOW! Its such an improvement on the mk1/1.5. It feels so much bigger to drive and the accelerator is a little stiff but I'm sure I will get used to it. I'm loving the privacy glass - makes such a huge difference to the look of the car! I've already put on a few home comforts such as my stainless steel tax disc holder, my dumpy ariel and my private plates :D I will be going out later and taking a few pic's to show off my new baby :D Ceri :D

When I ordered my MK2 I mentioned the mis-match bumpers to the sales guy. He claimed never to have heard of any issue and he had been selling fords 10 yrs :lol: He asked where I got the information, told him about ffoc and he said "oh, well no doubt you will be giving the car a full inspection when you collect it then. If you notice any problems we can sort it before you take the car" :lol:
