Brake discs & pads warranty=1 year?
wildpursang replied to chatterbox_333's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
There is a special tool for rotating the pistons back :) Before rotating pistons they should be cleaned, so no seal damage is caused. I have in the past used good quality water pump pliers to carefully rotate the pistons inwards and becareful not to damage the dust seal  Watch out for the fluid level in the brake reservoir as this will obviously rise  -
WOW, at least mine isn't an isolated case then? Trouble is, now you know, the more you see it :!: :x

£100 to my mates dad for his mondeo lx estate! He's getting a real bargain :P
-
Amazing....... My work colleagues and friends like the car but the Astra/Golf boys are quick to point out that the bumpers are a mis-match, and quote, "What do you expect from the Dagenham Dustbins!" I always inform them that the Focus is built in Germany  (Engines from Dagenham :?: )

Does anyone know why this has happened :?: My Mk 1.5 (2002) wasn't like this neither is my Partners (2004) Fiesta. All the MK 2 Focus appear to be like this :!:
-
Are Ford aware of this?
-
Look cool to me 8) Will you be selling the titanium wheels as could be interested?
-
Hi, I believe this has been mention before on the site, but on the MK2 is it my imagination but are the bumpers slightly a different colour to the bodywork? :?

IMO the 1.8TDCi is little better on fuel than the 2.0TDCi,but I do prefer the power of the 2.0.It's as good as the TDi 140 Golf V with lower insurance 9 vs 13 :D -
I have to agree with this. Was the proud owner of a 1.8 TDCi 2005 model. This has now gone and has been replaced with a 2.0 TDCi 2006 model. So this is now my favorite. :D

Always remember, all you need to know is the cost to change (the amount you will have to pay to make up the balance) It's surprising how this can vary between dealers on your PX to the vehicle that you want to buy.

Remember!........He who dares!!!! :D

Yes, the dreaded VAT doesn't help!
