Had this on my 55 plate Zetec and 07 ST-3 And yes its bloody annoying lol -
Hi and welcome to the FFOC. Primer is the coat that goes on top of all the paint isnt it? I guess you would need to apply base coat, few layers of tonic and then the primer, which makes it have the glossy look and protects the paint. I may be wrong tho :?: Seems an awful lot of money to spend when you can do abit of DIY :) unless ya lazy like me and have bags of money to spend

Thinking of changing wheels.

I agree, those multispoke ones off the Mondeo ST220 are brilliant, id get those personally. I think kevin davies put some on his MK2 ST and they look brilliant, in the photo gallery. -

Look good but I like the MS design ones and would suit a car like yours :) -
I think you could get away with having chrome washer jets as its a black car but I agree with rocky that you would be going the 'chav' route, as they like their bling, innit
-
The car is so much easier to polish if all the mouldings are coloured, otherwise you end up with white marks all over them from the wax. Theres a guide on here about doing it I think by foxy?? So you'd need to sand em down first to get smoothness, apply base coat etc etc
-
The ones you buy from ford or MS design (basically the same) should come with instructions on how to change it over and should come with an extender pipe for the rear washer, as the ST spoiler is abit longer than the standard spoiler. I think the screws for taking it off are behind the centre brake light
-
I've been told getting eibachs from ford wont screw with the warrenty. Someone correct me if im wrong :?:
-
I think the ST spoiler will fit right onto it using the current holes. I also think its the best looking one but thats a matter of opinion. Reason I was asking if it was lowered is that there seems to be alot of space in the wheel arches, would look better if you was to lower it on eibachs. Again, they are just my perosnal tastes of what I would add to it but other than that it looks a cracking car :)
-
You been busy mate, car looks ace. Only things I would add is a) colour code the plastic mouldings b) st/ms design rear spoiler Has it been lowered? Other than that looks a quality motor
-
I would imagine that if they are not fitted by ford then your warrenty would be void

Good news guys, I got a response from James at K&N:
