  1. ok, seems that 15226 will fit both the 4 door sedan and 5dr hatchbacks. not sure about wagon..
  2. Thanks I am not sure and thus asking whether this is so. I sadly have no estate.wagon for comparison..
  3. I am looking for HEKO wind deflectors for my FFII 2005 5dr hatchback (all 4 side doors). Tezza recommended these but only linked to the ones for the 4dr sedan. Search as I might, I cannot find any that are said to fit on the hatchback. On the www.heko.com.pl site (http://www.heko.pl/index.php?opt=szukaj ... szukajkod=) I also only find these > FORD FOCUS 3d 2004r.→ 15228 3 dr only :-( > FORD FOCUS II 4,5d 11/2004r.→ 15225 only front doors :-( > FORD FOCUS II 4,5d 11/2004r.→ (+OT) sedan, ltb 15226 only sedan (but then why 5dr??) Also, I don't need the read
  4. I notice that I have to adjust my driver-side mirror as far as it can go to the right to be able to properly see everything. That means that at the rightmost end, the mirror is quite far into its housing and thus I see about a 1cm strip of the inside mirror housing. I tried but cannot adjust the mirror housing further forward to get a wider view w/o this. is there any way to adjust the mirror housing more forwards/outwards at all? Also, is there any kit to auto-adjust the rear mirrors down when reversing?
  5. A pity the automatic doesn't show the gear selected, instead of just the selected mode (P,N,R,D). :-(
  6. I checked out those metal 'racing' pedals, which might add another 1-2cm below, but as I wrote that would bring them very near to jamming against the floor, which sounds like it may be a bad safety-risk. Esp if I drive.. On further though, simply extending the pedal lower won't help much, as the lower end would have to move further, and thus the foot would need to be further in too. I think the best solution might be some form of foot-rest pad, about 2cm thick, which could be velcrod onto the carpet just below the gas-pedal. it would provide the heel-rest, while the pedal would continue t
  7. my wife is petite. really (1.6m or thereabouts). I'm decidely not ! she complained that while driving she could not rest her foot on the floor, as the pedal was too small, which gets tiring after a while.. I was looking at options to extend the gas-pedal somewhat lower to facilitate that, but - the clip-on type 'racing' pedal sets can't easily/at all be fitted on the FFII as the pedal is too thick on the left side (on that side the pedal-arm is flush with the pedal) - it would only work for one centimeter or so, anything more might result in the pedal jamming on the floor when pressed
  8. I thought you'd already seen them matey, but if not, try this link... iPod connection in centre consol (instead of glovebox) I think he meant for TechJinx to show his Carputer setup (with mount), which I'd like to echo. I would especially be interested in how easily it would be to insert/remove the whole Q1 and what it looks like when the Q1 is not installed.
  9. I noticed that the engine-bay onthe 05 FF2 is open below. Could this lead to unneccessary - dirtying of the engine - drag from air below the car? Is there a mod to close up the engine-bay below to prevent that?
  10. Nice. I'd like something like that but with LEDs and not so distinctly round lamps inside. If yu have seen the new Mitsubishi Grandis MPV, which has clea (slightly smoked) rearlights with clusters of LEDs for rearlights, indicators and brakelights, each one made from >12 LEDs. Those would replace the 5dr taillight sets in a Focus nicely (to get rid off the rather crass red and white glass) Here is pic of what the Grandis taillights look like: http://www.autogaleria.pl/fotografie/mi ... 003_04.jpg] Anyone know where to get something like that for a 5dr FF2?
  11. So I keep reading posts like this: http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... c&t=149761 Only without a Haynes manual (and the German one I posted about not here yet), is there another source where to find out about how to disassemble (and more importantly reassemble correctly) my car's dash, center tunnel etc for such interior mods, cable-laying etc? Any pointers would be appreciated..
  12. I had that first at the bottom left side. Though mine dies shut, only there is some resistance about halfway ... Guess I will need to take another look
  13. I took out the glove compartment on my new FFII just now to see if the AUX cable was lying around behind (as has apparently been with some others' FFII ) but not connected to a proper jack. No such luck, it seems i will have to get the cable. After putting the glove compartment back in, the door seems to encounter some resistance when closing. It seems to be that it's the right-side ar/hydraulic assembly which touches the right outside of the compartment now (when before it was smooth). i have taken it out and put it back in a few times trying to find the exact position where this doesn'
