Thanks guys - Know this is stupid but I've seen one with a black surround that I don't want in my new car (Titanium, I think ST is black). It should be silver and just wondered if anyone had one they could show me. Cheers - Mike

Not sure about the style to be honest. The Zetec S could do with the silver bonnet strip being colour coded and a difference grill. In the flesh it probably looks stunning but in these shots maybe too `halfords' for my liking. :?

Anyone else had anymore news on their ordered Focus?

I ordered another TDCi Foucs which I am being quoted a realistic `phyiscal' date of October '08!

Yes, contact the Customer Services Dept - That's not a good enough answer! Be polite but firm.

Still no news on the new wirng loom! :( Can anyone else suggest what this intermitant fault maybe? Thanks - Mike

Thanks - Dealer is talking bout replacing wiring looms now, which will involve taking the whole dashboard out :( . I don't think it can be that serious a problem, as it works sometimes and not others. The loom is on back order, so not sure when they'll do it. I'll keep you guys in the loop. Thanks for the advice. Basically, the fault hasn't been fixed. Dealer thinks it's now the `wiring loom' which is on back order from Ford, with no real known date for the part to come in. It's a very odd fault as it seems to works perfectly well sometimes and not others! Thanks - Mike

Hi Chaps Tried taking out and then replacing the 108 & 112 fuses, but the fault still seems to be there. Looks like it could be a stalk fulat. It's booked in for Friday so hopefully I can get it sorted. Cheers - Mike

AFApe - The system works ok for the phone if I want to make a call, but the other functions work when they want to and it sounds like your `stalk' replacement maybe the answer. I'll see what happens on Thursday/Friday when the dealer looks at it again, with the new stalk. Nick - Was the problem you had the same as mine? Cheers guys. Mike

Hi Chaps Picked up my new Focus yesterday and am very pleased with it. A slight disappointment was that just as the handover was taking place the salesman went to demonstrate the voice control, which didn't work. An hour and a half later with a new radio, module replaced the fault seems to have been traced to the stalk and voice control buttom. Not sure if I'm posting in the right section, but the stalk is working, albeit when ti wants. Has anyone else experienced this and what happened to resolve? It's annoying because when it is working it's very cool. It's booked in next Thursday to h
