  1. There is a coilover set on ebay for about £370 ish, Jamex I think. These are the cheapest that I have found in shops and online.
  2. That is a seriously mean looking ride  very nice :D Is your tail lights tinted?
  3. I had some whistling noise from drivers mirror, but it turned out that i had a crack on the base plate of the wing mirror. Possibly the bolts on the passenger mirror could be loose could try tightening.
  4. No there not but there only around a year old, cars an 06 plate. Looks like i need to get some money together and see the refurb guy. Thanks for the help least i know what it is now. Thanks again.
  5. The only thing i every used is Meguiars all metal polish. Is using it causing this? or did i not use it enough? Thanks for the help, looks like i need to take a trip to the refurb place and see what they can help me.
  6. When i did mine i used the bracket which is in the spare wheel well, but i only had access to the bracket as i no longer have a spare wheel. Then other place that can be used bold that is on the passenger side of the boot, there's all ready a cable connected. I think that some carpet has to be cut to give better access to it and to give you a better ground. Hope this helps.
  7. Thanks for the replies. Does this mean that the actual alloy it not damaged?, and all I have to do is to get them re-lacquered? Thanks again
  8. I was cleaning the car and when i got to the wheels i noticed these marks on 3 of my alloys. Any one know what this is? how it's caused? or even how to fix this? Any help grateful.
  9. When you run the cables on either side, place them under the plastics, to do that remove some of the rubber seal, then you can carefully remove all the plastic trim. Pic below of amp remote and amp leads being run: Other than that its just like Jamz says. I found running the cables harder than anything else.
  10. I know the cost can be high but I'm sure you can get a good package deal that includes amp and subs for 150 - 200. As for the space you can get one sub and amp in the boot no problem and don't take up too much space. I only got two subs coz i really like bass and it was a good deal.
  11. I know that some headunits allow a subwoofer to connect straight to it, but you get a much better sound if use a amp, all my opinion of course. Go to a good audio shop and they can give good advice if you do need one, i would recommend to get one though. This is my amp rack; Boot install Nothing special but sounds really good and loud.
  12. if you can it them i would recommend alumapro alchemy 12" subs. I got two of these in a sealed box and they definitely kick hard, will try get some pics tomorrow. Dont forget to get your self a good amp, its just as or more important than the subwoofer it self. As for the routing i used the same how to as above.
  13. Yeah the mirrors are off ebay, and they do look a lot like merc mirrors, and as for them looking a bit :? they do grow on you, well some of friends say that any way :)
  14. Yeah thanks i get lots of comments about them from people on the road about the wheels. Saw your car above and it looks blingin 8) very sweet
  15. Been a member for a while now. So I thought I would finally put some pics up: Let me know what you think.
