Common fault - had mine replaced a few months back. The pipe isn't that expensive - about £25. I think someone on here has had a couple of them fitted.

Does anyone know what other models C Max roof bars may fit? Are they the same as the Focus Mk2? I'm looking for second hand ones and it would help to widen the search.

I had a new remote key cut and programmed at Ford last week - £148! I tried several auto locksmiths first, but none of them could do it.

Sorry jakx if I misinterpreted your original post - I thought you were being tongue in cheek. I honestly can't see the issue with a tiny Ford badge being missing from a key.

I have exactly the same problem and it's keeping me awake at night. I suggest we gather together all owners in a similar position and mount a class action against Ford - chances of success must be in the region of 0.0000000000000000001%.

There is no fuse box lid (I'm assuming it's the one inside the car)! I wasn't sure whether there should be one and it's gone missing, or there never was one.

It's not in the handbook and Haynes don't do a C-Max. Got any other ideas?

Can anyone tell me either where I can get hold of a chart that shows which fuse does what or, specifically, which one protects the cigarette lighter? Car is an '04 1.8 Zetec. Thanks.
