  1. HI all, Just taken a piccy of my little loom I found.. and.. YES mine also connects to the latch ( but I have no alarm fitted anyway).. But it does leed off somewhere towards to the light area.. will have to take the lights out and have a proper look! Anyway, the picys! Cheers, B
  2. Hi there, I dont think mine has anything going into latch. The reason for that is, I dont think my MK2 has an alarm fitted  . . .. When the car is locked, I can open the bonnet without an alarm going off. As you can see in my picture, my loom was found more closer to the actual light... Don't know if that makes any difference :D I'll take some piccys of my loom and report back :P B
  3. Well I cleaned the car today, so I lifted teh bonnet to give it a wipe over etc.. Thought I'll have a look around and see whats what. When I opened it.. behind the latch slightly to the right I seen something wrapped in black tape, so I un done it to find it was one of those little loom things.. but couldn't see it on the other side... I also thought.. Would that actually have enough slack to plug in  Below is an piccy on my engine bay from a few months ago, but I've put a mark in the area where I come across the loom. Cheers, B
  4. Update: I just found the same little wiring loom in my mk2 sport - wrapped in tape. Could only see the one though. B
  5. Would that be fitted into this little socket on the back on my light.. B
  6. Fitted the same myself about 3 days ago.. and have the same problem - guy at a garage said it doesn't matter about the 'up and down bit' as long as they are aligned correctly .. :) Piccy: WELL worth it in my opinion! :D Cheers, B B
  7. Just an Update on the Lights: Took it to a garage to get them aligned. I told the lad before he tried to do the lights, that the little light changer in the car doesn't work. He took the car in and has set them to the 'straight ahead position' .. which he said WOULD pass the MOT and doesn't matter about the light changer in the car :) .. All good! B
  8. Dont forget the HOW TO !! :D Good Luck B
  9. I think the best thing is to get them to the 'straight ahead position' and basically leave them like that. I dont mess with the fancy light buttons in the car.. just the simple 'on' and 'off' :D Donovan, thought anymore about the Bumper mate? Cheers, B
  10. Hi there, I know mikey G fitted these in his LX KM2 .. i fitted them the same reason why he did.. they look better lol.. The whole reason to have them is for 'Follow me home' feature. I know that wont work.. and they are cheaper than the Xeon :D As long as they are able to get aligned .. i'm not really fussed about the 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 feature. as i never used it anyway :) lol Cheers, B
  11. Hey all, I have just changed from the standard lights to the cornering lights – because they look 100% better ! Only thing I’m unsure about is the alignment.. I turned them on and drove close to a wall to find they are both more or less pointing downwards. I’m guessing I can take it to Kwik-Fit or somewhere like that to get them correctly aligned?! Also, when I turn them on and change the little setting in the car, 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 etc.. I can’t see the lights actually moving up or down ?!.. Unless they have to be aligned first? Apart from that, they work 100% fine and
  12. 320quid without the chrome bits!!!!!!!!! :o
  13. Hey Jo! Sounds good to me :D Just to confirm, for £500 i get: CC Bumper Shell + Sprayed Lower Grille + Chrome Surround Fog Surrounds (Chrome) ST Fogs and add a few quid ontop for Postage. Basically, the image on the LEFT -below- If this is correct, then i'll be making an order :) Cheers, B
  14. And the Chrome Surround ? :P .. Is the £499.95 including the 10% disscount ? Cheers Jo! B
  15. I should think they are the same because they take the same grilles and fog surrounds etc. So I'm guessing they are the same, I can't see any visual difference between them. just the price lol - All from Tezza Inc. paint job + chrome bits (if u want them) £551.77 - not Inc P&P nor FFOC Discount (i think) B
  16. Ok, I finally understand now :D   RIGHT, my next big question is.. what would be the cheapest method? To purchase from EP then get it sprayed and buy ST fogs Purchase from our expert Tezza  which i would receive it painted :) .. but have to purchase all the bits on top Or, purchase from Allen Ford which comes with the grilles and I think the standard fog surround (not chrome) .. i think ?!... and then purchase the ST fogs separately + be sprayed. lol.. B
  17. I thought they where both the same, just named differently lol ? So the one from european parts, you get the bumper and all the bits (not chrome though) .. But it doesn't mention anything about having to have the ST Fogs... it just say's Fogs are Required. :?: B
  18. Lucky you Donovan!!!! :P Next month I'll purchase mine and the extra parts!.. Donovan, when you get yours.. any chance you could do a HOW TO? .. so I can see whats what! lol So your talking £400 for that bumper and all the bits + painted. Worth it :) Cant wait! B
  19. Do you mean if I get the bumper I have to purchase different Fog lights aswell :? - I'd be a bit worried fitting different fogs  Thanks for the input mate! B
  20. Donovan, yeahh that's where I first seen it and thought " im sure i've seen that bumper a few times " .. then found a Focus CC with it on! So, are they the same bumpers, the one in the link above ^ and the actual Focus CC bumper ?! or is it the price thats just different ? :D Cheers, B
  21. Donovan, that looks mint mate! I'm really thinking hard now about the chrome.. one picture it looked 'alright'.. then I thought it looked better without it.. but now i think black and chrome goes pretty nice together :D Only thing that puts me off is the price !! :?  B
  22. Hey mate, just got a quote off Tezza for the CC Bumper.. BE PREPAIRED !! + £250 for the actual bumper and to be sprayed.. So your looking near the 400 mark! :? B
  23. lmaooo sorry.. watching to much channel DAVE !!! lol  Arr thanks for that Newcott.. I'll put a post up in Tezza's little section :D B
