well after mine played up again on the way back from seeing some friends in luton the garage is giving me my money back - ''THANK YOU GOD'' i have had it 5 months now and im glad it is going - anyone got any advice on what else to get?? :lol: good luck to the rest of you it is a very stressful problem as it is so hard to trak down the problem

my c-max comes back tomorrow they have changed the intercooler pipe and say it runs like a new car! i would be happy if they had not told me that seven times before!!!! wife not looking forward to getting it back - if it breaks down over xmas i can feel a divorce coming on :shock: as i agreed with the gaeage that i would give the car one more chance otherwise they can have it back and give me a replacement, but they said they have driven it on a 4 hr round trip today and everything is sweet as as nut - RTV was this the only problem with your 4 c-maxes ???? :roll:

june have you sorted your motor yet?? :(

ford technical have got involved with the car now!!! yer right!! they said it is a crack/split in the air pipe on the turbo now? does anyone else know about this problem? car being delivered back tues 11/12 they say its like a new car! - the story continues :evil:

still not it - loss of power and kangarooing garage have had the car a month now!!! it has also been in a main dealer for 2 weeks - im hoping that the garage will exchange the car now , ive had it over 4 months and not a week of care free driving! i have broken down 7 times, the garage has done more miles in it than me!!!!!!!!!!! i will not be getting another c-max - egr valve has been fitted and a lower fuel pump :evil:

car was still not correct when i picked it up on sat there was no power as if the tubo was not working - the garage has had it a week then they put it in a main dealer for a week- finaly they have tracked it down to the lower fuel pump? £1700 quid!! lets hope this is it

THEY HAVE REPLACED THE EGR NOW!!!! I AM PICKING IT UP SAT HOPE ITS OK THE WIFE AND KIDS HAVE REFUSED TO GET IN IT NOW!!!!

guyman is your problem fixed now?? and if so what was it im having terrible trouble with my 04 2.0 tdci doing the same been into the garage 5 times now they look at me as if im mad because no error codes come up

is this with the ignition on or off? cheers

does anyone know how to change the time on the sony 6 disk front loading cd player? i cant find a manual on it in my paper work for my c-max - only details to change the ford radios time. cheers

how much to change EGR valve if you havent got a warranty? seem to be having some problems as mentioned on this web site with my 54 2.0 tdci cmax just wondered if i got this changed and it wasnt the problem how much i was going to put down tthe drain?? and how much to update software - is it only ford dealers who can do it?? could some one let me know cheers... :?

i have the same problem i have just done a new post - have you sorted it now? - im getting a bit worried now because i tow a caravan in the summer and not looking forward to having this problem when towing.. when you got the problem did it just cure itself? mine seem to go when i turned off the engine then restarted it. :roll:
