  1. TDCIGHIA, Many thanks , just been out and changed the clock . Thank god for such a great forum site..
  2. Anybody know how to change the Sony single CD player time over to Summer Time :?:
  3. Today again the ESP fault came up 4 times and slowed me to a dangerous speed, until I drove back home and left the car there. Spoke to the Dealer sevice dept as the car is booked in 19th Feb for it's courtesy check. They said it probably needs a software update.....!! I thought my car had the most up to date software ROM 541 . Is this true or will a software update cure this ESP fault. I do love my car but you never know when this fault will occure and with children onboard is very dangerous. :!:
  4. Yesterday I had the ESP fault alarm 4 times. Everytime the car went into limp home mode, thought originally this may have been a one of..... The car is due to go back to Dealer for a new car complementary check Feb bought the car end Dec 04 . What questions or pressure can I put on the dealer to get this problem sorted ? See my 1st posting for details on my car. :?:
  5. I had water in the spare wheel well on my last mondeo . The cure was to replace the rear light clusters as water was getting in through them. This was known on 1999 models. I hope the maxie has'nt got this fault with the clusters :?:
  6. Took the car out today for a run and had none of the previously mentioned ESP problems. Hope this was a one off....... :?
  7. ChegalhaVara no I do not have an automatic.
  8. Ok spoke to soon , 2 weeks into owing ny new C-max I get my first fault. Just to remind everyone I own a 2.0 TDCI ESP/ Sony MP3 / Coolbox upgrade. Also I'm the one that the ROM is 541 & can change steering settings etc. Anyway my partner was driving with the kids locally when she had the ESP Fault and alarm come up . This resulted in the car going into limp home mode. She tried turning the ignition off and the car reset it's self for 3 miles before the fault repeated. Has this been covered before and what was the fix. How dangerous is it if it happens on motorway driving. Help...... :(
  9. Ok this how to change steering settings, but I might be within the few who can do this. I say that because having checked my ROM Level mine says 0541 along with the NVM Target also. I own 2.0 TDCI GHIA ESP/Sony single CD/upgraded cool box. Turn ignition on Press the menu button to get to Set-Reset Tap the button This brings up menu settings Message Chimes / Imperial Units / Languages/ STEERING SETTINGS. Select Steering Settings and you are offered Standard/sport/comfort These can be selected just by confirming with a tap of the button . I havn't been brave enough to try them
  10. Will try to work out how I accessed these settings and then post them on the site.I do recall when checking the ROM number it said 541 :!:
  11. Having filled up with diesel I went to reset the milage counter in the settings , and came across a choice of steering settings. These were standard, sport & comfort. Anybody else come across these and has anyone sensed a difference. I own a 2.0 TDCI Ghia which is only 2 weeks old and fantastic to drive , no problems to report.
  12. Just checked my C-Max 2.0 tdci Ghia and it shows 541 rom in test mode . Had the car only 2 weeks from new and no problems to report, in fact it's the best family car i've ever had. Can't wait to have it run in properly.... :D
