  1. Hmm, tezza would be the man to ask. He's not back at work till monday but he has been answering requests. Might be able to do you a good price too. Mucho discount on wheel bearings from ford in my experience. Also is it def the wheel bearing? I know from experience that if the inner tyre edge is excessively worn and scalloped it can sound like a worn bearing. Fits perfectly with your mileage as well so worth checking
  2. I presume (and I really don't know) that the temp sensor works by varying resistance against temperature? So increased or decreased resistance/short in the circuit could show reading errors? Check the supply voltage at the sensor and also check the wiring and connectors?
  3. yeah don't think I have seen a 54 plate either, just hedging my bets lol
  4. Mk2 came 05, maybe 54 plate, St 06 I believe. ST def later though
  5. Thanks for that ben that's what I thought! Yeah tuning IS my thing. Seeing as it's still got a manufacturers warranty I'm going to get my Bluefin reset and re-loaded for the new car. Then when it's out of warranty I'm off to Leeds for a custom RS Tuning remap :D Maybe by then they may have worked out how to de-DPF these in the software and get a decat / deDPF pipe made up Got a few other mods planned in the meantime too. God I can't wait to have a new car to play with :twisted
  6. hi there, I'm PXing my Mk1.5 for something newer. Going to test drive a Mk2.5 2.0 TDCi Zetec tomorrow and wondered if there was anything in particular I should look out for or be wary of? Anything model/engine specific that is troublesome? It's the DPF model unfortunately but it only has 6,800 mile on the clock so should be ok for a little while at least. And I am getting it from the Ford dealer where my brother is head of used sales so going to make sure its topped up with eloyes fluid before I pick it up. Well guys I'm all ears (or eyes as I have to read your answers) Thanks in advan
  7. Hi bud, the best there is is a custom remap from RS Tuning. Should give you 146bhp and 262lb/ft torque. Last time I checked the cost was £395 inc VAT with before and after dyno printouts. results with a generic remap, ie. one just for a certain type of engine rather than tailored to your car are at best variable. For instance on my 1.8TDCi Bluefin only produced 129bhp and 238lb/ft torque  If you decide to go the RS Tuning route (which I would highly advise, they are just about the only highly regarded tuner on a certain turbo diesel tuning forum) you will have to take your car to th
  8. Hazard a guess if he has made it into the settings menu he would have found out how to change the steering setup too  I know. How stupid do I feel
  9. I thought you meant which buttons do you press to make it change, not how the mechanicals actually do it
  10. Done a quick search. Continental Sport 205/50/17: £79 delivered on ebay
