Ok both are autoleads adapters stalk control: PC99-X50 and harness adapter: PC2-84-4. These should do u for connecting new HU. To fit it into the fascia you may need to trim/file back some of dash panel behind fascia, but otherwise fits quite nicely. They ordered them in specially for me as they were not stock items, but they had not been released at the time it took 3 weeks but now available so should be quicker.

I've fitted a sony cdx-m9900 into mine with autoleads fascia. There are 2 wiring adapters for connecting radio and keeping stalk control. I will try and find the codes for you (less than £20 in halfords for both). However as i am looking to buy an ST i might well be taking the radio back out and would not need wiring. i'll keep you posted.

I agree with troy on that one, at least on a spare you can say it will definately get you to your destination at reasonable speed. But i personally would not trust a repair on a damaged tyre to get me places, especially if i couldn't get replacement for say a week or so.

Ok thanks guys. I get the impression the new models will be having the repair kit, but tbh i would rather have a spare and shallow boot. Lets wait and see.

For those of you with the new ST, does it come with a spare???? I know it might sound thick but i've been into a dealer and they've said it comes with one of those gel repair kits. Is this true?????

I have now been very tempted to buy the new ST. So i've popped down to the local dealers for some info. Satisfied with what i've heard i now need to find an ST2 for sale, doesn't matter when i get it lol. However, i did ask about what the colour might be after the fab electric orange. The dealership seem to think its going to be a pale blue, he said almost white but otherwise quite a light but pale blue. I'm thinking i would settle for orange myself. But now just need help on prices, for anyone feeling helpful!!!

With mine i get ice inside car too :( have to get a towel to dry screen as the water runs off it

Car been dropped off this evening, will find out tomorrow what they find. The bit i'm not looking forward to is, will it be covered. As my m8's went bang they covered it under warranty, but because mine is showing the same symptoms but not actually gone i might have to pay for the work. I could be looking at paying upto £250 if they say theres nothing wrong. :shock:

A couple of days ago there was almost no pickup at all when pulling away, but when i started it yesterday it sounded really unwell. Sounds like my car has the same problem as the burning smell came back and there was a horrible noise like something internal was rubbing badly. My car has only done approx 2600 miles since march, and my m8's about 6500, i'm not impressed at the mo :x

He's just come in from work, apparently the pressure plate has snapped in 4 places. He was sitting in traffic, what could have happened at spped? Also if anyone else has this problem the part is on back order from Germany so don't expect it any time soon.

Got home toady frome being away for 2 days, to find my m8's new foci has broken down. Appaerntly gear shift got a little problematic (as does mine occasionally) and got stuck changing out of 2nd. The next day he was giving a friend a lift home and got a strange burning smell and then a huge bang!! :shock: The only gear he could now get was 1st so he limped it back to work (1 mile away) where he is now waiting for parts to fix, as he works in a dealership that has just become a ford service center. Should i be worried? as i also suffer the difficulty changing and occasional burning smel

also been thinking about bonnet after seeinf funboy3's if someone could try that for me on same pic it would help give me ideas

I don't think it looks right with all of surround colour coded round fogs, that was a question of mine in another topic. But that made my mind up on that one anyway.

Can anybody help me? i want to see what my scar would look like with the ST kit on it, and also the wolf concept kit? anybody care to take up my challenge lol and also feel free to deface the strange looking person beside it (me) :shock:
