I lay on both side here. When I bought my alfa from new, the dealer said take it easy for the first 700 miles, 8 years on the engine runs as smooth and dosn't drink oil. I have heard other people not following this advice then there engine guzzling oil and sounding like a bag of spanners.

I've had mine for 10 days now a still love looking back at it. The front head on could be a little more aggresive but it pulled along side the golf and the A3 for cabin design. Top marks ford! :D

Cool You can change it on alfas so I was guessing you could do the same. Oh well I'll have to live with it.

Picked up my new zetec climate last weekend and I have noticed that when ever I turn the heater on the AC come on automatically. Any ideas of how I can stop this??

Good to hear your enjoying it mate, I've had mine for 3 days now and still very impressed with it. I've been doing mosting A road driving and it only returning 37mpg and that driving like Ms Daisy. :( :(

I managed to pick my new black 2lt diesel, Zetec last night and love it to bits. Only added extra was the sony single radio with the ipod connection in the glove box, and it works great. As I've stated in previous posts I came from an Alfa Romeo GTV and wasn't sure what to totally expect, down grade in performance, lifeless motor and boring driving on the whole. :evil: How surprised I was, the turbo really brings the car to life, the driving position is spot on and I'm still finding cool little touches to it. I'll try and post some pics at the weekend if the weather isn't to bad. Only down

Jake I've just traded in my Alfa GTV for exactly the same reason. I've gone for the 2.0lt Diesel Zetec climate in black. A friend has one and he is averageing late 50's mpg at the mo. I'm due to pick mine up tomorrow so I will answer any question I can then.

When I ordered my car last sarurday they had a production date of the 16th and then said it would be shipped and be at dagenham motors on the 24th Decemeber, so I'm guessing with christmas and new year I wont get it till the first week of the new year if I'm lucky! The only option I have is the sony CD! :shock:

Yep, ordered a 3 Door, Met Balck, 2Lt Diesel Zetec climate on saturday morning with the sony 6 disc CD option. Now the bad news, I have to wait till after christmas to get it! Its production date is the 16th of Dec, and it will comes into the coutry on christmas eve (yeah right) so hopefully we should have it just after the new year. :evil: Is there any chance it may be quicker??? Looking forward to it now!

I can't seem to find any photos of a new black Zetec climate 3 door. Would anyone have one without any body kits on it?

New to the site so please be welcoming. I’ve come from a sports cars background but need something of a family car now. I about to order a new Zetec Climate 2 litre diesel in black and wondered if anyone has had any experience with one so far. I’m guessing the engine is pretty good and pulls well.
