Has anyone tried to fit one yet???

I take it is goes in the boot, there aint so much space under the passenger seat to fit it like in my old Focus...

I was well disapointed with this, we got 3 new focus' as company cars I am younger then the other 2 guys and have only been driving so they got me a 1.6 (100) and the other 2 guys 2ltr's while chatting about the new focus and how good it was (used to have a mk1 1.6) they mentioned the adjustable steering..... Went through the menu about 5 times looking for it.... lol

Hey all, I have a New Focus Zetec Climate and am wondering about a CD changer? Is the 6000cd able to take one? if so where does it go and how do i cable it etc... I took it to my local Ford dealer and they said it can only be fitted as an option at time of manufacture and my local AV specialist said they don't wanna touch it because the car is too new and "nobody has done it yet", was nice to see he was adventureous.... I dont aprticularly want to change the head unit for a non Ford one as the steering column controls don't work. do they? Thanks all.... Craig

OK folks, I also have a Zetec Climate 1.6 (7 months old) and mine does exactly the same as you guys and it has been back to Ford once to have them look at it. When it went back they said that they had found a problem and it was to do with the security system and it worked OK for a few days after, then all went back to normal with it not starting first time when its cold. I have now found the solution though and mine now starts first time every time, try this. When you get in the car turn the ignition so all the panel lights come on the leave it and put your seat belt on, then start the car

Its in the manual folks..... Mine isnt a ti-vct and I have no engine knowledge so if u bear with me, The four round verticle pipes at the front of the engine above then u have the air intake (i think) to the right. Well on mine there are three verticle pipes then the intake then the forth one further to the right.... will add a photo shortly, but it is definately in the manual as i didnt know which one I had. (company car)
