Got the new car and I've fitted the 501 bulbs in the footwell sockets. Working well. I've had a look at the 6000 CD and it has the AUX button instead of the CDDJ button. However there isn't an AUX-in connection in the glove box!! Also I asked Ford about it and they said that the cable isn't available in Ireland!!! And that they can't get it!!! Anyone know where I can get it and what type I need? Also the colour match of the bumper and the rest of the car is fine. I can't see any difference. The Car is Moondust silver. Cheers Mike.

Got quoted around 500 for a Kenwood 10CD/MP3 changer + adaptor from Halfords (Ireland) so that's around 250 euro cheaper than the SONY 6001 single cd/MP3 unit from Ford. Mike

Well, I'll let you guy's know if the Irish Zetec has the aux port on 3rd of Jan when I pick mine up from the dealer. Going to also buy the bulbs so as to have the foot well lighting!! that's only available on the Ghia over here!! Cheers Mike

My old 206 used to do the same. Misted up in the winter if I didn't have the Air Con on. I'm currently driving a Primera, (getting a Focus in 3 weeks) and the Primera is fine, but I have the Climate control on all the time. Didn't notice any problems in the focus I was driving a couple of weeks ago. It was a cold wet morning and it didn't mist up at all. Mike.

If you find out anything, let me know. I'm in the same boat. I was quoted over €700 euro to buy the dash fitted Sony 6001 single disk with MP3 compatability!! Do you know if the 6000 is also a SONY? since the 6001 and 6006 are SONY, then maybe a boot mounted cd changer is the answer. That's what I'm looking into at the moment. Cheers Michael
