this is the second bump ive had in this car since getting it in january although this is the 1st one thats my fault and what a silly * * * * i feel. the 1st one was a old dear running into the back of me but this one was a proper school boy error. parked in a car park. started reversing and put a little bit of left lock on to get in position to pull away when i hit a bloody post of all things. im wonderig if i can get some money from the car park owners as the post is wooden with no markings on or anyhting. what do you all think? this will give me a chance to get everthing colour coded though

as said dont let anybody in through the drivers door lol, you dont have to egt out your seat then and mess it up

pumabuild are doing a selection of wheels now for the ST, cant see why these wont fit normal mk2's

it works fine when i wash them but not on normal wipe, god knows what up. think ill take it to ford and let them sort it out. thats what warrentys are for anyway ha ha ha

has anybody else had trouble with there rear wiper? mine is playing up and the only way to describe it is when i put on,it get stuck midway through. the only way to return it is time it right and turn it off then on. it doesnt do this when im washing the window. any help?

right guys ive narrowed it down to 2 options no1 st2 5 door in black or no2 zetec climate tdci estate your all probably saying theres no choice there, get the st and i really want one but got the family to think about. if i get the estate then id have more for another toy (rs turbo perhaps) the st2 s are going quite cheap over here in germany as we get tax free cars as members of the army. last time i looked a st2 was around 13000!! more help needed

thanks for all the comments guys, i already have one child whos nearly one now and a 3 door is more than capable of being upto the job but weve got another one on the way now, so a 3 door will be a pain i think. i was thinkina a c-max or mondeo, any other ideas?

what would you all do if you had to seel your beloved mk2 focus? iv got a 55 plate 3 door zetec climate with the 1.6 ti-vct engine and i love it, colorado red and mk 2 foci are like bread and butter,BUT its got 3 doors and im going to be needing a 5 door sooner than i thought? what would you go for car wise?

jonny, yes mate i am partial to bit of a heavy right foot but it sounds so sweet when under load in 2nd and 3rd gear. cant help myself really. think itll sound a lot better when i get a indution filter and exhaust on. evil homer are you asking me if i reset it? if so no i dont. its just started to improve on a daily basis now, i think thats down to clocking up a few motorway miles the past few weeks. its really started to improve since driving home form germany so i hope itll improve more when i drive back there tomorrow.

looks good mate, i went from a 1.6 pug 307 to the same car ( in red though) its amazing and there more miles you do the better mpg you get. mines about 30.4mpg with 2500 miles, it was around the 28.2 mark for a while. the engine is cracking, much better than the lack lustre pug, sounds good to. also handles a lot better!!

ive got a colorado red one to, although there is another were i live, they are the only 2 ive seen in that colour. think its great because theres not a lot around and its a great colour

thanks for the replys, thats the wheel issue sorted now can any one help me tuning and engine dress up parts? is the ti-vct unti the same as the zetec se when it comes to exhausts, filters and shiny bits? or is it the same as the puma 1.7 vct unit, if so are parts for the puma good for the ti-vct?

hi all,ive just found myself back in the ford scene after buying a mk2 zetec ti-vct, ive been looking allover for tuning parts aswell as wheels, suspension and shiny bits but cant find anything, so ive got a few questions and hopefully you will have the answers 1) whats the biggest wheels you can fit? 2) whats the best size of wheel to fit? 3) is the ti-vct same as the 1.6 with regards to exhaust, filters etc 4) is the ti-vct same as the 1.6 with regards to engine shiny bits and coolant pipes etc? 5) who is a good repuable supplier of the above? i would greatly apprciate any help with all the
