Oops, sorry yorkie. Just think that its a bit unfair to ask someone else to contribute when the damage is due to your failure to check the area you are manouvering into. Would it be more in the spirit of the forum to just agree with you then? A bit pointless asking the question if theres only one answer your prepared to hear. Go ahead and ask the car park owners, you never know they may be charitable enough to share the cost but somehow I doubt it. :?

started reversing and put a little bit of left lock on to get in position to pull away when i hit a bloody post of all things. im wonderig if i can get some money from the car park owners as the post is wooden with no markings on or anyhting. what do you all think? I think youve no chance. Why should the car park owner pay you for damaging your car on a post which you should have seen when you parked up? Seems nobody is prepared to accept responsibility for their own actions nowadays. Always someone elses fault. "Where theres blame theres a claim".

Yep, thats aquarius. According to the brochure the Sport isnt available in this colour any more. The dealer located this one in Belgium. I was worried about the colour match after seeing some on this forum but it is fine.

Noticed it has disk brakes all round and a perimeter alarm fitted as well as the socket for mp3 in the glove box???????????

Here it is, with its stablemate, my Golf Tdi130. It will be nice to compare them First impressions are excellent, even with only 10 miles on the clock its smooth, quiet and responsive.

Ordered my 1.8 tdi sport three weeks ago. Picking it up tomorrow morning. Cant wait.

Strangely enough I have ordered a 1.8 tdci sport in Aquarius. Ive been told there is only one available and guess what, it also has the Sony 6 cd player. (Could this be a ploy to edge the prices back up a bit?) I told the dealer i didnt want it so he took £100 off the price of the Sony.
