Hey guys, Has anyone got any pics of the above engine? I'm expecting the arrival of my Zetec Climate with the above engine in September. Is this a good powerful engine? Cheers. Craig.

I got quoted over £1,000 by my local Ford dealership for the Eibach lowering kit. Not sure where they got this price from but that was excluding VAT!!!!! I don't think im going to go for it!!!!!

I've spoken to my dealer tonight and they didn't even know what a Flexi fuel was and assured me that my model 1.8 would be a petrol. :)

Yeah i asked for a 1.8 Zetec Climate. I was going to go for the 1.6 Ti-VCT but i thought i'd opt for the 1.8 that delivers a bit more power. It's since i've ordered the vehicle i've discovered that it is a flexi fuel.

Hey guys. I know there is a post about this already, but is there a 1.8 petrol available? I've just ordered my Focus due for delivery in September and they never said that it was flexi-fuel (whatever that is!). All that they have written on the order form is 1.8 zetec climate 125ps. Can anyone shed any light on this one? Thanks.

Ok so in general the Focus is a good car then? She is very lucky as ive had a few starting/ECU/CD player problems with my Dynamique Clio!!!

What do you mean by 'earthing'? I am looking forward to getting it. Even the 100ps engine i drove packed the power!!! Has anyone driven the 1.8 petrol? Is it powerful? I imagine as it has 125bhp it won't be that slow!!!! Thanks.

Cheers for your comments. I appreciate it. Are all those minor faults or major? I've got no idea about Ford's you see as at the moment i'm driving a Renault Clio. My father who is a VERY experienced mechanic says Ford's are * * * * but i like the new Focus. It just drives beautifully!!!

I've just ordered a 1.8 16v 125ps Zetec Climate in Panther Black with the interior styling pack. I'm looking at a September delivery at the moment but i think it will be worth the wait. I think the Focus is a fantastic vehicle!!!!! :lol:

Just ordered my Focus 1.8 16v 125ps Zetec Climate in Panther Black with the interior styling pack. I've already driven the 1.6 100ps and i have been VERY impressed. The power the vehicle has even the 100ps engine is amazing! The car handles superb and styled very nicely. Can't wait to get one of my own!!!!!!!!!!! :)
