My Titanium comes with manual air con as standard.

Dennis...you're right...the 1.4's are underpowered. As was said on here previously...nothing under 100/130bhp in a Focus is decent because it's quite a big and heavy car.

Dennis...it depends what size engine u have. If it's a 1.6 then it could be either the 100bhp version or the 115bhp Ti-VCT. I don't really think there is any sure fire way of knowing unless you have any documentation on the specs from the dealer or whoever you bought it off?

Haha! Cheers Ben! I decided that it looked better (for me) in Black because of all the chrome on it and the privacy glass although it looks nice in the Silver, Blue and the Avalon too...Black was the best in my opinion. :lol:

Another request for you photoshoppers if possible? Can you put the alloys from this Corsa... ...and fit them onto this Focus... I'm looking for 18" wheels and is there any chance in turning the Focus Black? Thanks.

Is that the mark 2 though? It could be the 115bhp Ti-VCT engine and not the 100bhp engine. I am looking forward to getting it. Not long now. A little over 2 weeks to wait! Was parked next to a mk 2.5 Titanium 1.6 in Panther Black..exactly what i'm getting today in a car park, although that had 16" wheels and mine's got 17" wheels. It was nice. I think i will be happy with it. :lol:

Is changing a bulb anything like how the mark 2 is set up? On the mark 2...you need to take the headlight out and then there's a plastic cover over the bulbs at the back. You then unclip this and then you have access to the bulbs. By the sounds of it...the access to the bulbs in the mk 2.5 is a little restricted. Am i right??

No point in trying to rescue the situation now! lol! J/k! Like i said earlier in the thread aswell...there's LOADS of 1.6's Foci on the road in all models! It must be an alright engine! I'm not after massive power anymore. I think im losing my "boy racer" feelings now! Lol! :lol:

Its alright Ben. At the end of the day though...it's only 25 horses and if i can get anywhere near 110bhp (which is the same engine as the Megane Coupe which was the other car i was looking at then) with any mods then i'll be happy with that. Also...my 1.8 drinks too much juice! It might be a nice change not to have to re-fuel as much in the 1.6 as i have to now!

I don't want it to have lots of power (just as well really!) but i just want it to be pokey and nippy...something that can give me a bit of power when i need it! Anywayz...it's a nice car! :lol: I think i might keep this one standard, not sure yet though. I think i'd just like to keep it looking classy. Watch this space though! lol! :lol:

Ah well...i'm stuck with it now! Haha! Plus...the majority of Foci i see on the road seem to be 1.6's so it must be a very popular engine. I'll see what it's like when i get the car.

I'm getting the Titanium but couldn't afford the 1.8 model. I guess what i will gain in interior quality and toys upgrading from the Zetec....i'll lose in power and engine size! Ah well!

Indeed u can...but only in certain models. Basically...not the model im getting! :evil: lol!

The 1.8 i've got now is very pokey...and i can really make it shift if i want it to! I'm just kinda comparing the 1.6 100bhp to my first car...which was a 1.2 75bhp Clio. Now...with only 25 more horses in the Focus....im hoping its a big difference from driving the Clio! I guess i don't want to feel like i've taken a huge downsize engine wise! It's 25bhp gained from the Clio...but 25bhp lost from the Focus 1.8 i have now. Why oh why...did they get rid of the 1.6 115bhp Ti-VCT?? That would've been a nice engine to have! Only 10 less than what i've got now which in itself is nothing...but

I know what you're saying Ben. The standard Focus models now you're looking at a top of the range 145bhp and thats from a TDCi! It would be nice if they made something slightly more powerful without it having "ST" or "RS" on the back! The new Focus looks very nice indeed! Can't wait to see it! :lol:

Guys, I'm just wondering what the general feeling is about this engine? Is it a good engine? Is it pokey? I know it's got 100bhp....but i'm stepping out of a 1.8 125bhp...so i'm just wondering if that extra 25bhp that i've lost is going to make much difference? Cheers. Craig.
