Well as I said, i have the colour-coded grille sat here waiting to go on. Getting it fitted on Sunday and to be honest I'm in two minds about it. I've done a photochop and I'm still undecided. I want to get it fitted leave it on for a while and see how i feel about it then.

Average fuel consumption around town is about 28mpg and the most I have ever had on motorway driving is 34mpg - trouble is I do more driving about town than motorway - its only a 1.6 :( Also, it doesn't like hills. In my old auto i used to manually kick down when I could feel it struggling - this one doesn't seem to want me to kick down manually and when I try nothing seems to happy :? Privacy glass - I would recommend it to anyone who was looking to get a mk2. Obviously its only the back windows that have

Well my list of things to do isn't as long as yours - yet :shock: I do have a mod on its way to me which I am hoping will be here this week. Nothing major, just another subtle change but i'm keeping that one quiet for now :D

I said right from the start "its staying standard, i'm not touching this one" and I honestly meant it. Trouble is, there are some bullies on ffoc (you know who you are!) and i've given into peer pressure - i'm weak :( But not that weak, I actually did the mod myself this afternoon - girl power :twisted: :lol: Anyway, its only a little mod for now...LHD Reverse light but it make sooo much difference - well I think it does anyway :D Before: After: Trouble is, now i've done that - where's it gonna end? I've got a mk2 auto and I've never had any problems with the gearstick (touch wood). Its something I will be keeping my eye on though, cheers for the heads up.

I've never noticed any clicking :? Mind you, I had to have my windscreen replaced the other week. When I drove the car a few days later it started raining, put the wipers on and had a terrible banging noise coming from the wipers themselves. Seem ok now though :?
