I had the 1.8 115 Mk1.5 TDCi Estate. I just picked up a brand new shiny 07 reg 1.6 109 Mk2 Estate (which comes with rear discs btw) The only noticeable difference is that on the old Mk 1.5, the turbo 'kicked', ie, you could put your foot down, and at about 3000 revs, you got a boot up your backside and got instant acceleration. On the 1.6 (and I test drove the 2.0 too) there was no noticeable 'kick'. I went for the extra 10mpg of the 1.6 over the 2.0 (and lower insurance). A 1.8 wasn't an option as I would have had a 6 week wait for one. Cheers, Rob Ps... and the Sports pack looks
