  1. I think it maybe normal mate...i'm sure i must of heard this when it was cold :? Keep an eye on it and report back soldier!
  2. This is the same seller whom i purchased my alloys from! I actually picked them up in person and while i was there i saw these sitting on the side. They didnt look tip top condition so i would enquire first before bidding.
  3. Someone on here sold theirs for roughly for £311....need to find the thread
  4. Timbo01- I got them in new condition from a local Ford broker for £450 with near enough new continental tyres :D It really does fit the bill especially that it matches the car which is Sea Grey. Maybe you should be turning grey with envy  Tony- Thanks for that mate. I was sure it was not needed as its an option for the car but i still wanted to confirm this. Thanks!
  5. I have recently got myself a set of the Ford 18" Anthracite alloys :D Do i need a rack limiter? When i checked the alloys out at Ford Parts the system says the rack limiter is needed but when i asked about it they had no clue what it was  What is it for and do i need it? help!
  6. Hello! I want to sell my titanium alloys that have done roughly 7000miles with bridgestone tyres with plenty of thread still left. Alloys are left unmarked and in new condition. How much do you think they value for or i could get for them? Sai
  7. Well i'm not taking it to Ford to get the HIDS checked. The problem with the car not starting first time started way before the kit was put in. But the funny thing is when i booked the car in and told them i had the HID kit fitted the guy didnt say anything about it and asked me to bring it along :D
  8. I have had a PM from a member of the forums and he believes it to be the cause of my car battery. I believe he may be right as i'm having an issue starting the car first time and its happening more frequently. So maybe the ballasts are not getting the charge they should be getting. Hence the HIDs work when the engine is on. Well car has been booked into Fords now so will keep you guys posted. :)
  9. I have they have asked me to check connections and to clean the bulb with a lent free cloth...they have asked me to try them for a week and if they problem persists they will replace it.
  10. I have done all that but still having the problem... :? The lights seem to be fine when i switch them on after starting the engine. When i switch the engine off and then switch the headlamps both come on and then after 5 secs switch off. Not sure if its faulty ballasts in terms of electrical charging
  11. Well the box only says HID and thats prity much it....all i know its the H7 6000k Kit. I got the kit from a seller called visionperformance on ebay who own their own shop. Just wanted to know if they were faulty so i could send them back....
  12. Hi, I have recently purchased a HID kit (6k) from some lighting company online. After fitting one side and turning the key (twice) not the engine i switched the headlamps on and 8) amazing white light just poured out! only to cut off after 5secs. :? The same happened to the other side once fitted... :? The funny thing is when i switched the engine on and run them they seem to stay on and work fine....i drove home and parked up for 30mins and tried them on again without the engine and they come on but one side goes off! Will confirm tomorrow but they seem to be fine when the engine is running
  13. I think your right...maybe we should make another thread with cars that have the piper exhausts 8) Maybe a lil mini video of all of ours :P wa ya think?
