Guys, Will be looking to shifting my car sometime soon. Just wanted to know how much the exhaust and alloys will shift for? Yee. Well with most recommended springs you would see vast improvement in handling (corner faster) and best of all it looks great 8)

yeh seen a few down my area but to be honest when the guy driving his drove past me he breaked soo hard that he nearly had an accident...guessing he liked mine better! :lol: Though mine isn't the facelift model and has the MSDesign Kit, Ford 18" anthracite alloys and a seexy sounding piper exhaust...OK i dont blame him!! :lol: :lol:

I paid £70 all in for a new flip key and to get it coded from a professional keycutting/programmer. FORD are not the only people who can do this... It can be reprogrammed as i have done this previously from one focus to the other. Nevertheless will need to be done by Ford (who charge alot) OR a good key cutting shop :D

Simple as that. I've got at mine a few times and has only taken a minute at the most. :) good luck!

you can have it programmed yourself, which will only work to open and lock the doors. However, the engine immobilsor will not alloy you to programme it yourself to allow it to start the car! so either Ford or a specilist key cutter can get it to work like your normal key fob. I bought the key from ebay = £24.00 and got it programmed at my local key specilist for £40.00 :D

hey guys, I know a couple of the lads on ere have the coilovers for their mk2's and i was wondering wether any1 on ere had encounters or have heard anything of the FK coilovers or the eibachs. I'm currently on the 35mm eibachs but want it much lower but dont want to spend too much. Got some advice from someone on here but still indecisive :? Jamz, i know is running the eibachs...any regrets mate? Cheers Sai

when i picked up my first focus 15,000 miles on the clock: 1) O/S passenger door lock broken (so cant open door from inside. HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUE) 2) "Bonnet open" message displayed on screen-lock broken or something 3) ABS light active-was a problem with the rear sensor I had to wait 3 days for the car and no apologies....my last Ford for sure :shock: :shock:

They are a tad brighter but the idea was to get them to match my HIDS (6000k) which i have on my mains at the moment. Considering getting the HID's but tbh not too bothered now as im kinda happy with the current ones i bought.

As Jamz has stated you can get HIDS for the fogs if you prefer...but the idea of trying to find more space to fit two more new ballasts for the fogs aint fun!

I managed to fit them this morning! :D On the left side i removed the headlamp and replaced the fog light and the right side i had to remove the fog surrounds and change the bulb that way due to some obstruction in the engine area. :o Anyhow i managed to fit some UltraLights (white) H11's to go with the HIDs that i have and tbh they dont look half as bad as the yellow ones i had! :lol:

I did change the bulbs before at Fords. They had lifted the car and changed it from underneath the car. I want to change the bulbs again but cant be asked to lift the car!

How do you change the fog lamps on the focus 2006 plate. Do you need to lift the car up and change from underneath or can you pull the fog light surrounds off and change the bulbs? Sai :D

Does any1 know if remote engine start will work on the MK2 focus? (2006) I was looking at installing a clifford alarm system but i heard from somewhere that the remote start won't work on this focus because of compatibility issues or summit like that. :? I know foxy got a start button on his but not sure if that operates similar to the remote version Really wanna get one especially with the coming weather :shock: any advice much appreciated :D
