Just done mine, worked straight away, no problems! You want bulb numbers 501 from halfords! They are 5 watt wedge type bulbs, probably same as what you use in your garden lights!!! £1.49 for 2, sure you can get them cheaper but couldnt be bothered to wonder round!

Dont panic found them!! :lol: Going to get some bulbs tomorrow!

Yes you should let them know, I had problems with my gearbox a few days after picking the car up (see My New Focus is Dead in this section), they should feedback all problems to ford, and its worth having them check it out anyway IMO. I have seen the email that the dealer sent to Ford about my car, proves at least the dealer is doing something. Whether Ford do anything is another matter! If its a common problem, I dont know!

The Snowflake in red - means outside temp is below +1c; it goes orange when outside temp is between +1c & +4c, basically an icy road warning. The red up arrow come on when you reach maximum RPM. Obviously you get all the lights when you start up!!

Nope, its staying standard, for at least the foreseable future!

Best one so far, read your manual pg 157 about replacing light bulbs! "It is necessary to remove the light assembly to remove any of the bulbs" oh yes it is referring the the headlights! wtf :shock: ....under the roadside emergancies! pmsl like I would take the front of my car apart at the side of the road! Anyone noticed anything else thats strange, odd or frustrating??

Has been released yet, apparently towards the end of the 2nd quarter of 2005...I don't think an exact date has been confirmed as of yet. Jamesthecat may be your man for this one!

Still no instructions, had a right bloody nightmare trying to change the clock on sunday! I have the front mats, with the focus logo (ask for the cmax ones, they are exactly the same n with the logo!) but have not been given the rear ones yet. Also, still waiting for the paperwork for my free services they kindly gave me, which aint to bad seeing mine was a priv. purchase! :D I gave them until tomorrow (2 weeks after delivery) to get everything sorted. I don't expect them to phone me, so will be calling them tomorrow afternoon, will give the saleswoman, an hour to call me back,

Load of crap that is!!! I do know they are having trouble getting hold of them, they are only the normal velour mats you would buy anyway for the focus, so they won't stop doing them. Ask them for ones for the c-max, my ones are for a c-max and as its the same floor layout inside they fit perfect! Dont stand for no bull!!!

James good call on tonic...which is the colour of mine and I like it more every day, there are a few of them about now though! Magnum grey looks good, seen a few AA Driving School cars in the grey (yes the new focus...AA driving school, remember when i learnt in a white Polo Coupe pmsl!!!) Aquarius - toooo bright for me! But looked nice at the Autosport show under ford team rs' blue lights!! Jeans is nice too, but honour green....why do they bother!! My dealer had a black estate version, looked good, but as you say bugeger to keep clean!

Right the reincarnation took place earlier this evening! Apparatnely a small plastic plug (thats how it was explained) was not pushed in the the retainer in the gearbox properly when built. It worked itself lose over the few miles i'd been driving it and popped out! Its all been sorted and fully checked, and seems ok. Only thing I can fault about the dealers is not phoning back when they promised, which is par for the course nowdays! Fingers crossed!

yep it is the same layout , reverse is ok thank god!!
