Just been looking at a 2.5 focus brochere and it says the new models have powerfold on the titaniums, but no pics. Wonder if they'd use the same button you mentioned?

Right, i have spent a few hours today sorting the how too for this, and i can tell you so far it's all good. The Mirrors are on, the wires are in place, JUST don't have anywhere to locate the switch. Bearing in mind that it will need a Power feed. I thought i'd mount it in the door - No it will look silly... as i have an alarm immobaliser there and that can't be moved. Next to it, Don't be silly, i'll mess up the look of the door. There was a design Fault with some of the Focus models rear wiper Arm springs going. They are doing it on warranty. Just tell them.

Timbo01, So far, i have all the bits i need but just need the time to do the job. Possible will be this week at some stage. I just got back from Glastonbury. Left the Bus Garage at 2 this morning and brought peeps back to london. 0200-1340 and getting 14hours pay for it. Quite happy but very VERY tired. As for those mirrors Foxy, the'd look good on a BMW or Fiat but i kinda like the shape of the MK2's better and they are probably a tiny bit bigger thatn those. They look good though.

It is difficault to get the pics as i have fully done both jobs. Although i will be repeating the rear as i no longer want holes in my bumper where the park sensors should be. I don't want the damn sensors so when i manage to get a new bumper sprayed i will do some pics.

This is a great idea. I was thinking about where i could move it to. But i need to get the mirror switch. What if Ford Don't know what i'm talking about? I have sent a message to Tezza and included you're picture. Thats of course if you don't mind. I have also been studying the Fiesta Install guide but as of yet, this is only to install it with the button and not the central locking fold feature.

Q1. Sorry Timbo, after looking into one of my own mirrors, there seems to be a differently moulded inner back for the mechanism to be mounted. However the Indicator can be removed from you're mirrors so you don't have to buy the indicators again. Q2. Ford factory mistake because so far the Focus has not come with this option. It seems only the Fiesta, Mondeo, and Fusion are the only ones. Q3. Yes it will require a switch of some sort. If Ford have made the switch, this is going to make life a lot easier as the Fiesta one is basically the old MK1 adjusting switch with an extra setting.

What do you mean. The heated mirrors - That is Fords idea. If it is, it is a single current anyway, perhaps it doesn't matter whitch way the power flows.

Teem Torqusteer are selling a kit for the Fiesta with instructions. I'd bet as the mirrors are the same, the mod can be done on the focus MK2 but i am a bit scared to try as the kit comes in at £300 odd. I would love to try but don't have the money for something i am unsure about. There is also Mondeo MK3 mirrors (same shape) on ebay for about £45 each and they come with puddle lights, but i really don't understand it enough to try. I hope someone does try soon as i am eager and can be a bit crazy. I might even talk myself into doing it eventually.
