Was it a 2l Focus before M8? Waiting for mine and nearly changed engine to 2l TDCi but glad I've stuck with the petrol after your comments. Sorry your not totally chuffed with the car though. How about the rest of it - Are you pleased? What model, colour, extras do you have?

Didn't want a taxi.....Had a TDCi Sport beofre and was not impressed that much. Car costs more, fuel and servicing is more and I average about a year so happy to not be using the same pump as my local cabby, lorry driver etc. :wink:

Liked the silver finish on it as it compliments the balck interior really well.

Hi Chaps Ordered my new Focus a couple of weeks ago and have time to change the colour if I choose. The problem is I have ordered Moondust Silver and think it will look good (3dr Dr Zetec Climate), but will black look even better? What do you lot think????? :?

Have been told late April or early May as mine is a March build.

Well done Steve, and welcome. I've ordered a Zetec Climate in Moondust, with a few options, also on Privilege. Brilliant discount isn't! My Granndad has ordered a Titanium with the Sat Nav. Looks cracking - Same as my cousins S Type Jags system, which I've used and is superb. Enjoy - Mike.

Thanks - Mine's a Mrach build so have been told I should get it towards the end of April or begining of May. My Granddad ordered his new car last Wednesday (Titanium - Sat nav etc etc) and has been told his will be built on 11/02 for an early March delivery. Have asked the garage's bodyshop to do before I pick the car up. They were initially unsure due to a memo from Ford's? But think I'll persue for them to do it. As soon as I get the car I'll make sure I post some good pictures of it. Cheers - Mike.

Ok have just ordered. 2L Zetec Climate 3 Dr in Moondust silver 17' 5 Spoke alloys ESP Adaptive front lighting Rear park assist Sony single CD Interior styling pack Mudflaps Cost £12k with Privilege and some discount as my friend is the Sales Manager at the local Ford garage. Looking to get the boot lip and side door mouldings colour coded into silver. Can anyone recommend where I can get this done, roughly how much it will cost, what the finish will be like on plastic and whether it would last. Would especially like to know if anyone has had this done and what they think ie, wish you had

Hi chaps Looking to order a new Focus on Privilege. Have dedcided on a 2.0l Zetec Climate. 3 Dr. Options so far are the Sony single slot CD, Rear park assist, adaptive lighting and 17' alloy wheels. Cost works out to be £12k. Colour though - Moondust silver or Panther black???? Wonder whether the black would make the car look more colour coded and thus more sporty or silver, which will be easier to clean etc and get the plastic door protectors colour coded. What do you think on the choice of model etc and the colour? Answers needed asap!!!

Drove the 1.6 Ghia today. Must say I was impressed with the car. The build quality is great and I think the drive was superb and I currently own an RS Focus. I initially didn't like the shape of the new car but I have to say, seeing it in the flesh has changed my mind. Think the Titanium model which my Granddad is ordering is the dogs B's!
