best i can do as it was about 8 months ago i done this 5 . running wires through the mirror . i have highlighted where to put the wire through as i found this the easiest route . you feed the wire down the hinge of the mirror that the motor wire uses as to retain the foldabilty of the mirror and there's no chance of catching the wire etc . when you push the wire down the hole you will need to look from the base side to see it come through and pull it the rest of the way . this was tight but my chunky fingers done it so you should have no problem . once its fed through the hinge and out the

cant remeber exactly but the wire goes down a tube and out the bottom but at the bottom there is a very thing gap then theres a plate there the wire will come out. Need to look harder mate :lol:

i could when i done mines from memory there is a thin gap where you can see the wire come through

just poke it through then use some thing to hook it then pull it the way you need it to go :D

thats one of the checks they said mines doesnt need done for another year :wink: but to be honest with them calling it a mojor service i would have thought it was done as part of the service but nope thats extra :roll: best bit was when i got the car back and was about to leave thought ill check my service book and they hadnt stamped the paint check :roll: a tenner for nowt never even washed it :lol:

what difference does it make whether its a vtech or not as the vtech noise is at the intake end not the output end :lol: little sis just got rid of here ctr with a viper kit which had a nice intake note but the big bore just sounded like a big bore from any other car as its still a n/a vtech or not granted every engine has a sound to it but a crx wont sound the same as a s2000 or a civic tyre r and a prelude wont sound the same

Well the mk2 was in today for its second service billed as a major service. oil, oil filter, pollen filter, odour filter and a vissual check of the car.......... waiting on me typing more well nope thats it :lol: also got the paint work check all in £169.94 :shock: when they said major i expected a proper service :lol: with plugs and air filter aswell done with moving parts greased ect but nope thats it hardly a major service is it could have done the oil and filters and plugs for that and had a load of change left to by the new tyre i apparently need :lol: mini rant over nor

thw wire wouldnt go direct to the air bag it would be intergrated to the main loom then it would go the the gem or the air bag module id imagine

the first spare loom in the glove box is i beleive a passenger air bag deactivater loom which if im not mistaken a guy on here retro fitted and it ost him a few trips to ford to get put right again so would leave well alone :lol: the second behind the cigarette looks like the loom to illuminate the cigarette lighter does your illuminate ?

for ice sensor .............. and you need the symbol in your dash before you buy the sensor to plug in, i bought a sensor ..................... but dont have the symbol :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: teach me for not looking first eh

i had mine out a while back cant remeber specifics tho but seemed to come off no problem will have a look tomorow for you mate and try take mine off again if you need me to :D

mine has the flat type wipers where its just one long blade not like the older type that has the little metal arms every so often to push the blade on to the windscreen .......... that any good to you :lol: my description sucks

there are three wires that come out of both looms mate for auto dip and rain sensor auto dip = orange, black/orange, green/red on loom side . white, black, grey on mirror side of the plug orange joins white, black/orange joins black, green/red joins grey rain sensor = black/green, black/green, white/green have them in front of me :wink:
