  1. Is this what youare looking for? http://lsauvain.free.fr/_lolo/chgt_placage_alu.html
  2. Look at the picture (its a LHD car). Driver side wiper does not cover all area swept by passenger side wiper. So , water collects as a straight line between wiper areas. Yes there is a delayed movement of wipers to sweep that water but it is inadequate. The result is this. That water drains to the bottom, making a stain there . Its a pain to see. I think if the passenger side wiper sweeps more degrees, this wouldnt be happen.
  3. Nankang is one of the cheapest winter tyres here (SV-1, ca. 50 pound ). good to hear its being good on snow, slush and ice; but long brake distance is dreadful , IMO.. Gislaved and vredestein are not sold here.. I think i need a winter tyre good on soft snow and slush and also good on rain...i think i dont need studded tyres as thick snow and ice is not the main concern here.
  4. According to the latest ADAC wintertyre test (195 65 15) GY UG7 is the best. 2. Dunlop wintersport, 3 vredestein, 4. Pirelli W190 snowcontrol. They all got 3 stars. Conti wintercontact, Bridgestone LM25, nokian WR got 2 stars and kumho kleber etc got single star. What i want to know is that will those- single star- cheap winter tyres be enough for moderate winter conditions here . ADAC test here (in german) http://www.adac.de/Tests/Reifentests/Wi ... =8979%230#
  5. orei, thank you for the quick reply... Nokian WR is another choice; its price is in the midrange here..HKPL2 is very expensive...
  6. Some say michelin alpines the best, some say GY ultragrip 7s perfect. But kumhos are very cheap.. Which winter tyre should I buy for Cmax (205 55 16 Hseries). Istanbul is not a very cold city. we see snow about twice a year for one week period each. Generally i used to go work by public transportation when it was snowy. But this year i will have to go to work with Cmax (my new home is a bit far to my workplace) so i think i must buy one set of winter tyres.. Korean and chinese originated winter tyres (nankaank, kumho etc) are quite cheap. Some say we dont need alpines or UG7s because the
  7. Up to my knowledge its 424; but some say 425 is ready  Any info ?
  8. could you post some pictures please, showing the leak ?
  9. my 1.6 tdci also does this, ecently.. it's a 2004 May production car, had all the software updates (424 now), turbo pipe and O-ring replaced, recently MAF sensor cleaned but... i occasionally feel those flat spots, not always ; so its hard to replicate. Sometimes it happens at 2nd gear 1750 rpm and sometimes at 2100-2200 rpm (1st or 2nd gear). its less than one second and it appears as not accelerating. After flat spot, the car accelerates powerfully.. What about yours? Did you get it fixed or learn to drive with that flat spot ? What should i do ?
  10. personally, i'd prefer this forum's name illuminating there (ffoc.co.uk) :) because there is a "FOCUS C-MAX" badge on the boot door already...
  11. On another forum, one guy from Estonia posted this picture (and some others) of a modified Cmax. I invited him here but he hasn't come yet (Sorry, i post this picture without permission :) ) They are thinking about producing this body kit commercially. Personally i dont like those funny mirrors , top bonnet and wheels. rest is good..
  12. here is a similar topic from me.. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=82010
  13. to my knowledge, ford headquarters is in cologne, germany and the addres is: Ford-Werke GmbH Kundenzentrum Postfach 71 02 65 50742 Köln Tel.: +49 221 903-33 33 (Mo - Fr: 07:30 CET until 17:00 CET) Fax: +49 221 903-28 69
  14. I am very pleased with it ! It works properly :)
  15. 04 1.6 tdci don't have that "message chimes" option :(
  16. think its from another platform. Cmax's wheelbase is 2640 mm, 5's is 2670 or 2680 something so its bigger then Cmax. its 2.0 tdci produces 143 bhp i think and this is the next generation diesel technology of FoMoCo..
  17. Still no recall here in Turkey :( Where can i complain ? www.ford.com directs me to the national ford site. im about to complain them, already ?
  18. Yes, i did and told it here with a separate topic for a long time ago. Those wood looking but plastic things seemed cheap to me and they did not suit metal effect of steering wheel columns, SONY buttons, and EPB and smokers pack' surround (IMO). I also changed the gearknob after this picture. Still, looking for a better knob :)
  19. Pictures are always good :) I wonder how its looking in the flesh. If anybody buys it ; please inform us and send some pictures..Thanks :)
  20. nice car !! Looking great when lowered :) think you need those 18" 7-spoke 'machined' alloy wheels , though :)
  21. Still no recall here in turkey !!!
