I tried that in my mondeo and guess what p**s all over the seat. Anymore bright ideas???

Does anyone know the fuse value for the nearside full beam, this is the second time it has blown in a week. The value i replaced was 10A and it is in the central fuse box under the glove box. Is 10A the right value or does anyone think it should be higher? Please help as it is driving me mad :?: :?:

Where else do you put 2 huge cat boxes if not in the boot???

I had climate control in my 53 Galaxy and to be honest i don't miss it either but I miss the leather seats :cry:

They should do, you could have every single window smashed and the glass excess would still be the same, usually £50. It isn't per window.

Do these fit in the hole for the sidelights, they look too wide to me. I ordered these: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info ... 9dbab42a51 They have a conical lens which should reflect the light back on to the reflector.

No not winding up, just wondered how the clock problem happened as I don't seem to have it, one of the lucky ones i suppose.

Fitted the LED wedge bulbs today, I'm not overly impressed, think i got cheapies. They are bright but with a blueish tinge, I ordered some wide angle types from ultraleds this time in the hope that they may be better.

Yep I agree, I only had the car a day when I caught the sill with my boot, nice big scratch. Thats why I got them, to cover it up.

They should be able to replace it as it was, after all thats what they are for. I had had big chip on my 02 Mondeo heated screen and Autoglass did a first class job, you couldn't tell the difference.

I would have thought the climate control would have been standard on the ultima :shock: Yep it would look better with the zetec silver trim with that gearnob.

Does the clock gain or lose time rapidly or does it take a bit of time?

In LED test mode the cruise control lamp illuminates, does the CMax have CC on one of the steering wheel stalks or is it only on the steering wheel? It's quite possible that cruise control my be retrofitted on the zetec variant, same as the galaxy.

The test mode is able to be used while driving as well, Info such as road speed in mph and kph is available, rpm, fuel flow, a lot of it not much use unless you're a mechanic though. distance to empty is also in the test mode which makes me think that other useful info can be enabled from it via WDS to be put in the normal display.

And rightly so, are they marked with focus or C-Max?

You may or may not know that the Xenons on the CMax are a dual xenon setup. If your dipped lights are not on and you flash your full beam the halogens will flash only. If you have dipped xenons, when you switch to full beam the xenons have a mask that flips down to give you full beam as well as the halogen spots. Good stuff, I only realised tonight when the fuse blew for the nearside full beam and I was in the process of replacing it, I thought the car had an exceptional full beam on the dark country roads

I was thinking of getting the CMax rubber floor mats for the winter, out of the ford accessories booklet.

The salesman at Dorchester Ford mentioned to me that they will probably be putting the 2.2 TDCi in the CMax, that would be an interesting car to drive, then again he did aslo say that the TDCi didn't have a turbo and that it was just common rail technology that made it so fast when I was test driving it. As you can imagine, I told him that he was talking out of his A**e and that maybe he needs to just look in the brochure. :roll: Which they didn't have :shock:

It has been invaluable, I had to take the cats to the vet the other night and one of them did their business out of the cat box all over the mat. A dettol disinfectant floor wipe had it cleaned in seconds, I dread to think of the mess if it was carpet. The mat is on top of the carpet which seems to have provided a little extra soundproofing too. :D Oh it cost £30 by the way.

I dont get that on mine, it just starts again where it left off. As for the comp setting check in your ford audio manual, the ford units have the same but I can't remember off the top of my head what it is.
