I had the same problem on my 2.0 TDCI. However, I was lucky in that they replaced in under warranty.

I had to replace this last week as some "git" removed the ford badge :twisted: To remove the backing all I used was a chisel and a towel - the backing came off very easily (too easily I thought) and I did not make a scratch

Have a look at Darwen Tyres just off the A666 (about 200 yds on the right after the motorway turning). I used them a lot for my olf Mondeo and the prices were very good

Good luck - mine was in CD Bramells in Blackburn a few weeks ago for the upgrade. Came back and I had problems. Took it back again and they re-flashed the rom and everything is fine (upgrade to 424) except MPG's As I have a 53 plate c-max I am under the impression I cannot upgrade to 5xx rom level, unless anyone knows different

Got home this evening and everything was fine. I need to pop into Ford tomorrow to get my radio code so I will mention this thanks

This is a strange one. I got into the car this morning (2.0 tdci) and turned it on - fine. The problem is that the gas pedal did nothing. What I mean by this is when I pressed the pedal down there were no revs. First of all I presumed it would be the gas cable - but when I press the pedal it feels like normal. I have just had the ROM upgraded to 424. Any ideas before I phone the AA tonight?

I have just had mine done (2.0 tdci) and I paid £160. £130 was for the service and £30 was for some cleaning agent for the diesel/engine. This was at CD Bramell in Blackburn (pretty useless really).

Hi all, I have just noticed that I have quite heavy condensation on the front window. It is that bad that it takes ages for the air-con and heated front window to remove it (good 10 mins). At the moment I have some kitchen towel in the glove box. I had this problem with my MK2 mondeo but not to this extent. Any ideas why/know problem? thanks

I have just looked at my manual and I have a page regarding programming new keys. I presume that if I managed to get hold of a key I can take it down to my local key cutting shop to cut the new key then I can programme the new key myself?

Hi, I only have 1 set of keys for my c-max and so I need to purchase another set. Can anyone tell me how much Ford will charge for this (I would like to get another one with the remote control facility) and if there are any other companies around that will supply one? thanks
