  1. Hi, Can someone just explain what the levels of trim are for the C-Max? I always thought it was Studio, LX, Zetec and Titanium but lots of people talk about a Ghia version..... Michael
  2. Are you sure you should be unplugging wires? I thought that each airbag/safety system was calibrated to each vehcile and unplugging it can affect these settings...... Anyone know?
  3. The standard radio is a 1.5 standard Din so you can't fit a double din HU in there. IIRC.........
  4. Nope I have to use the key, the whole car is being stripped this weekend and that was top of my list to do. The mould was only at the far left corner though so I doubt it'll be the button......
  5. Sorry to bump this thread up, but since it was last updated has anyone come up with another source of leaks? Pulled up my boot carpet tonight and half of it is covered in mould :? Cheers,

  7. It's not an air vent as nothing comes out of it with the air con on (and there's wires going up that way). It's only about 50mm diameter with a speaker like grille over it....... So I'm assuming it's either a speaker (as well as the one further down the door) or possibly sensor's for the alarm (though I'm sure the alarm doesn't have any.....)? I'll upload some pictures tomorrow if no-ones replied by then. Can't take them at the moment. It's a 54 plate LX btw.
  8. Hi, What's the thing behind the grille on the inside of my door by the wing mirror? Is it a speaker? My car's currently in pieces so I can't test it. Cheers, Michael
  9. Hi, I've removed the door trim from my 54 plate LX and need to remove the black plastic rivet type fixings. Anyone here come up with a way to do it? I've done two using a screwdriver but I can't get the others off due to their position. Is there a trick to getting them off? Cheers, Michael
  10. If you find it doesn't switch PM me (so I get an email as I don't check in here often) and I'll have a look at my lists and find you one. I've been looking at all sorts of wires over the past couple of weeks as I'm fitting a new alarm to mine.
  11. Remember though there does need to be some power left in the battery to start it (you can't drain all but 0.001Ah out of it then expect it to start :) )

  13. Update, I've also removed the pillar trim and the bits beneath it and still it won't budge.
  14. Hi, Just below the windscreen theres a storage area on the passenger side. I'm trying to remove the dash on my 04 LX and can't remove the bottom of this storage area. I've taken off the top door but cant see how to get this bottom bit off. Are there any screws I need to undo or just it just pop out? I've trying levering up the edges and I'm just starting to mark my dash so I can't help but think there's a screw somewhere I'm missing, Thanks, Michael
  15. Hi, I've fitting a Falcon Predator Evo4+ to my C-Max and somewhere there's two wires that locks/unlocks the central locking. I'm told by the alarm company that all new Fords have them but they can't help me find it as they're never fitted one to a C-Max and they don't have the wiring diagrams. Before taking out all the trim in my car and going hunting armed with my Multimeter and wire cutters...anyone know where I might find them? Cheers, Michael
