I have a 2005 2.0 tdci focus with 115000miles and travel regularly from Lincoln to Glasgow approx 280miles and get between 55 n 62mpg travelling at 70+mph depending on traffic and roadworks etc and when i travel to and from work approx 20miles each way on B roads i get between 45 to 65mpg depending on how i drive. My mate at work bought a 2006 1.6 tdci focus to save him money on fuel from his previous car, yet his mpg is no were near that of my 2.0 tdci even when he goes on a good motorway run.

Hi, When i had my car serviced they told me that my reverse light wasn't working, the garage had checked the bulb/holder and told me that it would be the reverse switch that was faulty. When i rang round for a price for switch, one ford dealership was approx £23 + vat and another ford dealership was £26 + vat when i asked how much it would be fitted they was unable to give me a price without looking at my vehicle. One of my local motor factors quoted approx £10 but listed 2 different switches both same price. Decided to have a look at switch to see if i could find out which type it was. Aft

I had this problem, apparently its a common issue. I bought some extreme glue from halfords made by loctite. Solved the problem untill i had my windacreen replaced last week due to a nasty stone chip.

What recall is this???
